So the characters that have been englacted for most of the episode finally have their episodes but this somehow has me worried.
They all want to win the rookie event and they way it's currently going i would not be surprised if they go for a ending where it's a draw between all of them which would be lame.
At least it's nice to see what the other characters are going trough.

It was nice having Sachi as the focus of this episode, it was really interesting seeing her trying to shake off the rich girl aura and be able to compete in bicycle race on her own merits.

An episode entirely focused on Sachi and her situation with her dad, as well as herself, because while it seemed like it was about her trying to prove herself to her dad, it was really about finding her own purpose in racing, her dad was really just a good way to push her, because to me it seemed like he wasn’t being an asshole about it, he seemed pretty chill actually lol.

And I liked the reveal that part of Sachi’s problem was that she’s too modest, and doesn’t really go for what she wants, like moments in the past where she was satisfied being that way, and I think that’s respectable and honestly I’m kinda similar myself, but when it comes to racing that’s not the right mentality to have, so I’m glad she figured that out, it’s just unfortunate she still couldn’t win against Izumi lol, everyone can’t be the main character after all. And there was an after credits scene with a bad crash, it could have looked better but it does have me interested in the next episode.

The introduction of each member is fine. But what was that stupid first episode the girls to aim to become bicycle racers all at once? They can become friends in the training school without such a forced plot. If the beginning were different, they could earn more audience.

The leftover main girl of Sachi Nagoya takes centerstage this episode, and she has a rather robust family of cyclists, though they are too conscious about her developments to win, especially her demanding father, who sees the bicycle races the same way as a business, to always have a clear vision of winning. Even with the proposal that Sachi has to make up for her father, he doesn't find it convincing, and pushes her to the brim of understanding why she wants to become a Keirin cyclist.

Much like Tsubaki, Sachi finding herself losing the lead and always landing on the Top 3, she doesn't want to always remain at the spot, and her strategy is hard work, something which finally pleases her father.

You still got a long way to go Sachi, so don't give up.
