What a rushed sequence and finale. Pitting Satou against what is like the final boss in the show, aka the Abyss King ist just a baffling decision, not that I should even be surprised at this point. I know this show has been trying to bulid up this fight but really felt like the emotional investment didn't live up to its standard. And of course, it involved those rings and princesses. Yikes, a really weak show overall. Lol season 2 got announced https://twitter.com/weddingringsPR/status/1771529832863518933 |

Let the big fight between Satou and the Abyssal King finally start. Using the power of Amber, Satou and the others returned to Arnulus. However, upon their arrival in Idonokan, the destination of their teleportation, they found countless corpses of soldiers from the Gisaras Empire and abyssal creatures. With Alabaster and Marss nowhere to be found, Satou finally encounters the Abyssal King in a despairing situation. Utilizing the power of the Five Princesses of the Rings, Satou, in order to save Arnulus, confronts the Abyssal King directly as the Ring King. I thought we were finally going to see an animated version of the ED, but it didn't happen. Instead, we just got a fade to black the next morning. They couldn't defeat the Abyssal King, but Satou did land a good blow. Looks like he'll need some serious "bridal training" before the next fight. And now with Hime's little sister introduced, it seems like there's a new arc on the horizon. Among the top three ecchi anime this season, this one is the worst. It's bland, generic, and lacks much of you know, THE FUCKING ECCHI. Frankly, it's just garbage. And let the garbage continue.... https://twitter.com/weddingringsPR/status/1771529832863518933 |

With Amber's teleport back to Idanokan, Satou and the Ring Princesses find a world that has dived down to evil: the Abyss King has been fully resurrected. With all 5 Rings in possession, Satou is given the ultimate power to defeat the Abyss King. However, he still lives, and the Ring Princesses find themselves surprised that the legend was not foretold like it is supposed to be done. The desperation of fighting against the King and his minions, not to mention Satou nearly being swallowed into the Abyss, they have to think of a proper plan, and fast. As Satou fades into unconsciousness, he is saved by Alabaster, whom he created an opening for the Great Sage to save them all, and also with anunexpected help: his long-lost love, Samragdi Romca. But back to the real problem at hand, not even the Great Sage could stop the Abyss King's advances in growing its forces. And now that everyone is together, they all reach back to Nokanatika, though the reason why he could not defeat it was a ring that was not documented, and the final result is perceived as such. Improving the bonds is the only way to draw out the power of the Rings...through wife training, Satou just can't handle the harem seriously. Hime (as Krystal) coming back after a long while and introducing Satou as her husband, all's good for Satou. The magic training...will be done by Morion Ravri Nokanatika, Hime's younger sister, and this training will amp their senses more. The possibility of a Season 2 is quite on the doorstep, this journey to defeat the Abyss King isn't quite over yet. But as an adaptation, this...is just mediocre, despite it being close to the manga. |

For what should've been a final boss fight of the season, it was a bit disappointing. Need to learn more about the Abyss King than him just being a bad dude to care about it. A second season would be welcome, plot isn't bad for an ecchi, nice fanservice with hot girls and I want to see how the rest of the serie plays out but Satou is one annoying whimp who treats every girl besides Krystal shit and just do it man. |

The series started decent enough but the extensive use of plot convenient and cliffhanger ending drag it down a lot. The ending doesn’t even the degeneracy of some raunchy fan service. Will watch season 2 just for Nefritis. |

Urg, this show could of been good, instead its just average, some of the characters were likeable, some not so, the whole show feels half arsed. Maybe it will pick up in season 2, for now its just a Average for me, what's annoying is I am fairly easy to please so a show has to be pretty Meh for me to decide it gets a 5. Even considering its an Ecchi it serious missing the mark and I like Ecchi so not much more say. |

I couldn't help but laugh at the scene where they get jumped by Abyss King's army....some doujin artist out there is gonna have fun with that one. Honestly this show was...something else. And keeping it a buck, this ecchi is on some weak end shit. Oh well, a second season is confirmed which is a shocker but what can you do? 5/10 |
Don't believe the hype. |

Even the ecchi was a letdown. I enjoyed the elf princess part and the cat princess, but it is a generic story with a shy guy. I will still watch season 2. Maybe it will be better now that he is doing looking for the 5 princesses, though I am sure he stays a virgin. |

Back to isekai and good to see Alabaster and the prince doing well. They need more power but unfortunately Satou stays the same. Is he even a man? Well who knows. Ends with Hime's sister's appearance. She'll be a fun one. Decent adaptation of the manga, it's good that they didn't shy away from the fanservice. Looking forward to s2. |

Let’s gooo another season of peak announced. I’m sure this was probably two cour from the start. I always thought episode 12 would be awkward to end on. Overall I’m pretty disappointed with the adaptation, pacing was good, but it never captured the magic of the manga. Not sure if it was the art or production values, but it just felt off. The manga did the erotica stuff way better as well. There’s actually a really well built world in this series. The author does a lot of notes and what not at the end of chapters explaining lore, but the anime just feels like a PowerPoint slide. I think the best part of this finale was getting introduced to Hime sister. She’s so great in the manga and I can’t wait to see her animated, hopefully they don’t butcher it. |

Very good last episode imo. We got a lot of emotions in it, some good action, and a nice cliffhanger leading to a confirmed season 2! I really loved the fact that Satou will need his wives to win against the abyss king, and I also really loved this 'our story is just beginning' vibe we got: clearly this world is vast and there are a lot of things that are going to happen, lots of place to visit, lots of people to meet I'm sure. And of course, the mystery of why the evil guy was able to survive will need to be resolved too, that will be an interesting arc in addition to the one consisting in making the girls train and get better at fighting. Overall, I really liked the series. While this was not my favorite isekai or harem series, it's still up there, among the good ones imo. Loved the travels the characters took, the discovery of new places/cultures and new people. It also has good humor (mainly the grandpa), good drama (marse storyline) and good romance (satou/hime). 7 for the whole series for me! |

Decent final episode, the gang ended up making it back to the other world and the Abyss King just happened to be right there in the open, a bit convenient but alright lol. And it was here that we learned that simply having all the rings isn’t enough to defeat the Abyss King, especially with the fact he has his own dark set of rings which wasn’t mentioned in the legends, which I’m kinda happy about because that would have been too easy, get 5 women to give you their rings and only love one of them the whole time, yeah that’ll beat the ultimate bad guy lol. And although it’s not surprising, I’m glad to see Marse and Alabaster survived thanks to that elf girl from way back that has a history with Alabaster, he’s got a real one with her lol. And after returning home we got the scoop on what has to happen to defeat the Abyss King, and that is for Satou to strengthen his bonds with his wives and also for the wives to undergo training, and typically I’m not a fan of final episodes dumping info on upcoming events for a sequel that probably won’t happen, but I’m happy to say that another season was already confirmed which really surprised me, but I’m looking forward to it and hoping it’s a bit better than this first season, especially with the appearance of Hime’s little sister at the very end. This was a pretty good show, I enjoyed the journey of collecting each ring and scooping up a new waifu along with it, and of course I enjoyed the bits of ecchi we got too, as well as the backgrounds because there were a lot of times where I paused to look at them. Despite all this tho, I do feel it was held back by Satou, early on he didn’t bother me much and I do understand why he does what he does, but as it went on it got more and more aggravating that he wouldn’t do anything with any of his wives besides Hime, and even with her he didn’t do much lol, it just wasn’t very satisfying on that front, especially since the ecchi was good otherwise. This is why I’m hoping another season can fix this, with Satou having more one-on-ones with each wife and hopefully romance can develop with all of them, but I guess we’ll have to wait and see about that. And this show had a nice OP and ED, that OP especially reminded me of 2000s anime, I noticed it when I saw someone point out that it’s kinda similar to the OG Fate/Stay Night’s OP which made me like it even more. Once again I did enjoy this show, but here’s to hoping the next season is better than this one! |

Even though Satou hasn't been able to defeat the Abyss Kings, it won't stop here. Next, it will take place in the second season. It's a shame that Satou hasn't been able to defeat the Abyss Kings, because they are too strong OR Satou is the one who doesn't have enough strength to defeat them. So they have to practice again as directed by Grandpa Alabaster. Hopefully Morion's arrival will also help the team. I'm looking forward to how Satou will resolve this. |

Was it necessary for them to be naked while teleporting? Absolutely xD. Gramps' yandere girlfriend saving the world lol. Hey it's the ED scene... kinda. Oh so Krystal has a sister! Sister who is voiced by Miyu Tomita, nice. Anyway, that's all for now. Honestly, I have mixed feelings about this show. In one hand, I just don't understand how the author sets up a real harem where the MC has five wives and power ups by developing his bonds with them... just to make the MC Himesexual. Like, it's not even about him having sex with them but at least show some interest? To try to get to know them... you know, something. On the other hand, Satou aside the show was still fun, the girls were great and the ecchi was nice. So with a second season confirmed, I want to see more of the girls but if things will continue the same, I don't know. Nefritis best girl! |

Very good ending episode! Good series which could be better if Haruto would treat -- would love -- better his wives -- Krystal, Nefritis, Granart, Saphir e Amber --, which can happen on the officially announced second season. |

Characters should make decisions that match their descriptions and situation. A great sage isn't very sage if it takes until After a loss to the big bad in the finale to think to train the wives. He knows the prophecy or history had the wives fight alongside and he had the 2 weakest wives from the start. He should have been training Hime all throughout their time on Earth! It's LITERALLY the end of the world of you lose this fight and your job is to increase your bond. HOW are you still slow rolling everything?? The character keeps saying how he wants to save this world, but the actions he shows Do Not Match. He knew the criteria for improving strength was connected to increasing bonds. every episode should have shown him getting closer both emotionally and physically. A character selfishly focused on 1/5 of the group is just not fit for the role. It's selfish as the husband of a harem and it's Extremely selfish as a supposed hero. I'm tempted to give it a 4, but will likely give a 5 or 6 when all is said and done. The show would have genuinely been better if they let someone die and expressly said it was the fault of Krystal and Satou for ignoring the needs of and need for the other 4 wives. Harems and Isekai, just like any other genres can be bad, but a lot of bad one's being made is NOT an excuse to not try to be good. |

You've somehow already seen everything in other series somewhere. The magical world, the fight against the monsters, the character design of Alabastor. It all seems like a formula, as if ChatGPT had been asked to “write a fantasy anime.” I actually really like watching anime in the magical world, with castles, palaces, fights and demons - but the Ring King just seems so tired to me so far. For “Frieren” e.g. I love this magical world, and the original story behind it and the whole message. Stark, Fern and all the others quickly grow on you. But here, I had trouble even remembering the names of the characters, because they are all so interchangeable and template-like. (in some discussion-plattforms this show is simply refered to as the "Ring King"😀 ) The thing might have been a big hit in 2002, when the whole “Lord of the Rings” hype was starting, but in 2024, after having seen dozens of anime in this genre, it just seems out of date. The relationship between the main characters somehow doesn't really got much going, everything is kept on the back burner in the first half. But I'm glad I didn't dropped it anyway. After the first 4 - 5 episodes weren't pretty decent and the usual fantasy tropes were dealt with, I found the title more interesting from week to week. The last episodes showed might be still some kind of potential, especially when all the other princesses were introduced and Hime's siter seems to bring a breath of fresh air. IzanaSolos said: Wouldn't have thought - especially because the manga has been around for a few years and the first season wasn't that exciting either. And let the garbage continue.... https://twitter.com/weddingringsPR/status/1771529832863518933 Unfortunately, if I would've to rank every anime I've watched this season, "Kekkon Yubiwa Monogatari" would come in last place. It was not terrible bad, but just too uninspiring. "Oroka Na Tenshi Wa Akuma To Odoro" (from this season) also has very tired standard setting (demons, fighting against angels, etc.), but still manages to add an original touch. That's what I was missing from this series. Definitely not the best anime of all time, but season 2 will definitely be watched. (and 12 weeks ago I wouldn't have dared to dream that I would even make it through the first season😂) |

Not a bad way to end the season imo, the fight with the Abyss King continues and Satou has to strengthen his bond with the ring princesses in order to have a chance of defeating him. It seems appropriate since he just briefly met most of his wives, being able to beat the Abyss King just like that would have been very anticlimactic. Overall it was an okay season, this anime is quite generic and the art is pretty bland but I still had a good time watching it: 6/10. Though it really lacked some steam for an Ecchi anime, hopefully season 2 will be spicier. |

That's was kinda a nice and we also got to see Hime's imouto, who also at good level as her sister (and with magic prowess too). Season 2 is coming guys. The manga is still ongoing for 10 years now so the new season is pretty much expected. And I hope Sizuk and Alia will still make the opening and ending songs for the next season. One of the best points of this anime are the theme songs (especially they are both sang by AYAME, vocalist of Alia) so I hope it would be the same for season 2. |

EP 12 Also apparently i just found out today that the manga started in 2014? damn, its been 10 years already Last time shenanigans happened aaand who knows what will happen this time Are we gonna have another 4 mins of shenanigans before they surprise us with the op again? or no? they didnt start with the op i guess Also like, the immediate question is, so its implied maybe a week or two has passed and the time is 1:1 (maybe, or maybe not), so where is gramps and marse? Also like, you know, satou has all five rings now so yeah, looks like the empire has been busy hmm. anyway. i wasnt expecting the rings to literally merge into one hmm. so yeah ep 12 plot twist, whatever is going on uh well whatever is going on i have no idea but they're really going on that whole plot twist thing anyway so yeah gramps is back and they managed to escape offscreen so yeah, its easy to forget, but its not like they're alone in this world, soo convenient help is convenient its really hilarious. because gramps is like, what, probably 70 or older. hilarious really but anyway so they managed to wound the abyss king but otherwise what now? anyway ep 12 fanservice, etc aaand so anyway. hime uh. also hime has a imouto aaand of course. last episode new character. So yeah uh. s2. i mean I'll see when it happens I guess. It is funny that they mentioned how nef and hime are kinda like just standing there, but im not sure how they'll be able to contribute. Also like, another season of uhm. now that all five girls have been introduced. i dunno, they've been dragging out the whole hime topic since literally ep 1 Its been so long since i heard hime's full name i'm not even sure. Also im not sure if its just me. usually tomita miyu is fairly obvious but here im not sure, not enough lines and she sounds a bit different. So yeah s1, s2 uhm. I mean its really hard to say. The anime itself wasnt bad, but strange stuff like. Saphir was introduced in ep 7 I think, which was 4 girls in ~7 eps, and amber didnt show up until ep 11. The last few eps were also a bit weird. This ep itself was uhm. It's hard to say. Without a s2 announcement this would straight up have been a sequel hook, but they announced it. Who knows when it'll happen though, 2025, 2026, 2027. I'm not sure how early they decided it though, or what will happen to the rest of the story. |

Generic ahhh fantasy anime. I think I would've enjoyed it way more if it was hentai tbh. All characters are bland. The abyss king has no personality. Hime is a slut. Although she enjoys flashing her cleavage, I admire that she is concerned about Satou. Despite she was a little too defensive about not wanting him to return back, she does trust him and yields to him. So stop HATING on Hime. |

Going into this finale I already knew that this was getting a season 2 so I didn't mind as much that the abyss king was not defeated and instead seriously injured. That leads me to believe that he'll return and I hope we get some backstory on how he came to be. I'm also hoping (maybe too optimistically) that Satou gets closer to his harem (if you know what I mean) since that is one way to get stronger. On on a more serious note I also hope that the sequel improves on better story telling and animation because in this season those were pretty average. Also, the ecchi here was decent and I like that this was uncensored so I hope they continue with that, and on that note I'm giving this a 7/10. Side note, I'm also surprised that this is getting a season 2 but this gives me hope that other series can someday get a season 2. |

I saw the second season announcement but even before that I knew this show wasn’t gonna conclude everything considering the manga is still ongoing even if you haven’t read it it’s quite obvious this wasn’t gonna be done by one season The Abyss King lowkey is a problem I wasn’t familiar with bros game, them black rings are a problem💀 The fanservice in this anime was the highlight for me tbh I mean they showed straight up tiddy and I can’t complain at all so for that I’d give this show a 7.5/10 I hope the story gets better for the second season not saying this season was bad but it could be better but nevertheless I’ll miss this show and I’ll miss the ending song😭🥹😭🔥 Morion hella attractive tho with them twin tails tho s2 needs to come quick👀👀👀 |

I´ve seen other harem animes with harem endings, but the MCs at least aren´t so mean with the girls. They love everyone. I feel so bad for Granart, Saphir, Nefritis and Amber. I rarely say this, but I regret picking up this shit pile show. My brother recommended it to me, I didn't like it, I dropped it, and picked it back up this MC is a wanker, he's trash. he should be loving ALL of his wives and he's fixated on one we got no action from the other girls, maybe the manga fixes it, but this anime was a bust. I'd score it less than 3, but my standards can't rate this trash as low as Pupa. Hime SUCKS. She was one of the worst characters I've ever seen, like, dude you know he's practically the ring king because of you?? like, step aside sis, the really hot girls are here (I hate tsunderes) the saphir was superior in every way as was nefritis 3/10. If I wanted to watch a romcom where the MC is affected by a "oneitis" for a single girl and he only has eyes for her (usually not my type of genre by the way) there are plenty of series to choose better than this, for example "My Happy Marriage", an entire another level of quality. In this setting and with this MC's behaviour (and the behaviour of the main girl too) the entire plot is a nonsense, and label this series as "harem" is a bait, it hurts to watch the other girls treated like shit as if they were an annoying inconvenience or disposable objects that can be set aside once you get their rings. Very hard not to hate the main couple in this situation, expecially him, one of the most annoying MC ever created. |

@Franz_Furantsu Exactly!! What was the point of selling a harem, if the MC is going to be mean with them except for the main girl. Is the first time I say this but Satou doesn´t deserve to be the lead of the series, he is not good as King at all. And yes, the other girls are only being used as objects for their power, thats it. He cares for them only a bit, then he became so rude to them for no reason at all. It really feels uncomfortable to watch. |
