I was still hoping that they would meet each other again after the time skip, I'm sad it had to end like this but that's life I guess :( Too bad because they were a great couple in my opinion

Yi-kyung was really starting to edge towards cheating territory... Relieved that she didn't go all the way. I know Suyi was emotionally unavailable, but I still feel bad for her.

sui deserved better, she went through horrible experiences, yet pushed herself for her girlfriend, only for the gf to see her as someone who she couldn't understand/love anymore, I feel like sui literally have done the best for their relationship, pushed the pain of losing her dream, worked her ass off so that they can live together, kept trying to be the good gf she is, while mc just kept complaining throughout the movie, she couldn't see what sui did for her, she couldn't communicate and kept avoiding the issue hoping it will solve itself, and eventually tried to fill the hole by having an affair, if I was in the shoes of sui, I would totally feel upset, imagine working so hard just for your lover to dump you, sure this happens in real life, but I feel like things would have been solved and worked well if the mc tried to communicate.

Poor Suyi. I understood her pain more than Yi-gyeong's. This story was so realistic that it made the events very heavy on the heart. It was a depressing, yet beautiful movie. I really enjoyed it, but now I need to go watch something less depressing, haha.

I'm sorry if I'm just dumb af and I just didn't fully understand her reasoning. It's either that, or she just has one of the dumbest reasons for breaking up that I've ever heard. Fdym you she can't love her because she isn't talking about herself? What else does she need to know? Suyi clearly loves the mc and is willing to do literally anything to keep their relationship going despite not being able to go to college or pursue her dream to become the next Messi. As a matter of fact, it's the mc who's showing signs of being unfaithful. Suyi didn't have an affair with other women, didn't slack off and became toxic, and she never even thought of breaking up eventually, literally the most dedicated partner she ever had. Yes, she gets upset about what people think of her, WHO TF DOESN'T? From all the mc's yapping, the only things I agree with are the fact that she said the break-up had nothing to do with Suyi, and she deserves a better woman. Yes, she definitely deserves a better woman, but why won't YOU at least try to get your shit straight and learn to accept other people's flaws and become that 'better woman'.

This is purely based on my interpretation of the story, I didn't understand much of it because I think it's not very well delivered. Idk if it's because of the limited dialogues compared to a common anime (if you can call it that cuz it's Korean), issues with subtitles, the lack of context, or just my dumbahh comprehension skills. Anyway, I find the story confusing, definitely not the best yuri/shoujo ai 'anime' I've ever seen, but I still feel the emotions so ig that's a good thing. Some say that it's the most realistic romantic story, and I agree with that to some extent. A lot of people do break up over the dumbest shit.
