| So this episode basically covered the 1998 movie. Of course the movie was 1 hour 30 minutes VS 45 minutes episode so there are a lot of differences. And the movie added a lot of original stuff to make sense so we could do a big text wall with all the differences between them and even manga. Anyway... Jean kinda stole the episode for me he is fun too see and also literally a monster in battle. (And a little Tsudere in the end lol). I think they destroy half of a landscape will be the common thing in this series hehe. And the OP song is a 10/10. |
| this was the whole movie minus that Jean transformation into a beast if i remember right action pack episode again and i like that dialogue by Yu when he said "god is just an excuse people use to runaway from their sins"  |
| Haven't seen the movie yet. This ONA is my first experience with Spriggan. Fatman and Little Boy are named after the two nuclear bombs dropped on Japan. Noah's Ark is demystified as an ancient terraforming device. It could be used to solve climate change but like Moroha double-crossing the Russians last episode, MacDougall uses the ark for his own ends, using its destructive as well as its blessing powers |

| never seen the movie, maybe I will once this is over, for a Studio 4°C classic alone. The overall plot was fine, antagonists are cartoonishly evil, crazy, and OP again. While I previousl, thought the animation was okay, I really have to say I dislike it. Was this rendered in 480p? Did they forget the anti aliasing? |

| When Yu told Jean to save the assistant and the professor, they were in the sky right? So Jean grabbed the two of them, jumped off the ark while it's still in the sky, left them on the ground with the others, and somehow flew back up into the ark to save Yu? Do Jean's abilities let him fly, or his speed is fast enough to allow him to jump that high? |

| MacDougall lmao, I had heard that the manga localisation initially heavily censored anti American sentiment. Naming an important character MacDougall is the ultimate insult to the US. I wonder what else there will be and if there's anything that bad. Seemed pretty tame so far, outside of just the Americans being villains. |
