| This is the type of episode you'd want to see for those powered up moves. Bron and his Blue Net Spirit is no joke as he managed to capture his targets. Definitely one of the tougher enemies Yoh and his group has faced. He lives up to his reputation as a Patch Priest imo. |

| It's been some time, but I recall this arc being the weakest part of the manga (which is probably why Jump pulled the plug halfway through it), though I'd still take it over 2001 any day. Wouldn't mind them rushing through this part just to allow the endgame enough room to breathe. |
| well at least Ryu attained an Armored Over Soul too but he is still useless lost of resurrection going on even the dead comrades of Hao got revived, as expected of soul manipulators they can resurrect people over and over again as long as they have enough energy for it Lyserg is strong now |
| The Five Warriors and gang are being tested by the Patch Tribe, 10 plants total before they can face the proclaimed Shaman King Hao, all in 15 hours. The Desert Plant facing against Namari, and Ryu takes helm for this one with his armored Oversoul, which isn't enough to defeat him. Next is the tag-team Tao Ren and Horohoro, which against all odds, cleared the 1st stage. The weird and rando marriage proposal between Lihite and Teruko is just about the most LMAO thing ever, and with a nut as a ring lols. But the real deal against the Oyamada father and son is still awaiting, while frenemies are just hanging around with each other. The heavy door that leads to the Valley Plant facing against Bron, and since Lyserg has known him through and through, his anger fuelling him would be bad, and thankfully Yoh calmed him down to assess the situation further. I was expecting the Patch Song to be this devilishly bad, and for the tone, it does give that vibe. Yoh and Horohoro are down, and Lyserg will take care of Bron for Stage 2 of 10 Plants. |

| Ryu......!! A lot of movies work on certain philosophies or 'rules' which make a good movie. One trope is a simple object inserted at the start and is then noticed at the end as a critical point is key to a good show. Ryu is not an object, but i've loved his character arc from our first beginnings in the graveyard to now. Now that dude deserves his resurrection. Awesome side character story and development! We just need to fuck up that spider dude now! |

| death is too fragile now in this anime. and so is resurrection lol ryu just had to die without any sense, and so ren and hororo. seriously stupid. in normal shounen anime, those 10 levels would supply tons of action. but in this, i really prefer this ending fairly quickly. problem is, battle system lost all it's logic. |
| Ryu tries some payback. Although the fact Horohoro and Ren have control over their respective elements, the lack of rain in the Desert plant makes some useless, or so Namari thought. Using the little water in oasis that exists, Ren and Horohoro work together to unleash the lightning on the opponent Ryu showed the way to. |

| Tao Ren died that easily? Someone is going to die on each places for sure... Shaman King are more fun if they stop die and revive again countless times now... Arab and the Mexican guy can't be revive? Well... Sure the Arab guy got shot in the head... But the Mexican guy died the same way as the Hanagumi... Poor these 2 guys... Author/director just leave those 2 dead for good while others Hao underling live. (Well include Luchist maybe since his soul decided to go to the great spirit). |
