| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Personally, as much as I abhor Coach Yoko's stalking, in this case it works to recruit the U-16 MVP Yu Kiyose to the New-Gen team to fill in for Mami's spot. Of course, Yu hasn't forgotten her grudges with her former Kushiro Snow White team, and here Yoko is Talk no Jutsu kissing up her ass to Yu to beckon her in consideration to return to ice hockey with the New-Gen Nikko Dream Monkeys team. As for the New-Gen team, they're all ready with new ice hockey equipment gear and personalized uniforms (Manaka getting the coveted #1, can already consider her to be the team captain). Really surprised that no one picked #69 LOLS As expected, Yoko is laying a perfect trap for Yu, but her assistant Sou has to do the rest of the acting work (though being nicknamed as Jim Carrey sure doesn't equate that feel either) to convince Yu to come back to ice hockey. Manaka is even better, she played the quarterback to add to the affirmation of Coach Yoko in the way of a contest to attest for her skills: a simple goalie-shooter shoot out challenge. Convenient plot armour works again to bring Yu back, though I'm not complaining about this progression. The "bad" puns though, Rice To Meet You. |

| The girls received their uniform for Dream Monkeys and Manaka is #1 xD, Yu got challenged and missed her shot against Manaka, so now she had to join the team officially I guess, that's gonna be even better for them, nice! |

| Was kinda convoluted but was necessarily convoluted. Thankfully we had Kaoruko to make the comment about the number 1. That Yu and stick scene had a good atmosphere. |

| Well it was obvious she would join on one point but she finally did, even if she had to lose a bet for it. The question now is how much will the team improve now that they have Yuu as one of their members. |
| Great episode! So Manaka took the number 1 shirt and the coach tries to convince Yu to join the ice hockey team. She even left a pen behind so she would go to the rink to return it to her. The girls also bought new skating equipment. She also joined the team in the end… Looking forward to the next episode! |

| The main crew attitude is getting a bit redundant at this point. The main girl is just way too sugary and their conversations are flat, I need some spice and not just a round of girl spitting their impressions. The way it developed the join was alright though, I loved how the development of the building blocks of hockey and the tying with the concept of the pure and innocent fun generated a vision through the Yu. Hope her character doesnt get destroyed for other purposes though, the anime needs her |
| The hockey moments have DRASTICALLY improved since the first episode. I thought the details in the art when they were at the Hockey Shop were PERFECT! Granted I am not big on the thick tape on the blade of the stick but Yu's shot was so beautifully animated. God I loved it. Yoko is turning into a great character as well. I disliked her in the beginning but she is growing on me. |

| Show's honestly underrated, really enjoying it a lot so far. Well, it's not special or anything, but I think it's executed pretty well. Sasuga "Kirifuri's Jim Carrey," can't believe Sato actually pulled that off really well lmao. Also, as expected of Yoko the master strategist. Well, she only really led Yu to the stadium, it was all on Yu from there. I wonder what Yu would think about Yoko's master plan which is the idol hockey players lmao. Looking forward to the next episode. |

| Until now there's no music at all and i expected it will be only when those girl win a competition first, wow so amazingly funny" plot if it really happen in the end, and it kinda funny the mvp is another girl from another group (well she leave though), the story like hey we will win because of the new girl not because of what we have done plot, pointless to see their training with this kind of plot because you just need "yu" to win and it's just that, i understand now why the rate of this anime kinda low cause I'm even not fond of this kind of plot at all, useless and pointless |
