| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Jesus Christ, Takemichi needs a hug. All those tears and despair because of Hinata's death, not that I blame him though. Anyone in his position would break down if they lost a special person like that. The timeline he's in is truly cruel but that's reality. This episode felt like Takemichi's change to really be who he is. |

| NO MORE PLAYING NICE GAMES in this new timeline as Akkun and Hinata's death rings in the Bloody Halloween arc! The goal to be Toman's No. 1 guy for Takemichi, that's the only revenge he needs to avenge now admist tears and despair with Naoto, thinking that they've succeeded, but a loophole found in the new timeline because of Hanma and his Valhalla gang. Going to the detention center to find Draken in search of more answers, and it's not as easy as it seems. Draken on death row for what happened to Toman, and the head ringleader isn't far: Tetta Kisaki, Mikey's jealousy, and now the one behind Hina's death. The only way to solve this issue is to go back in time and restart Toman from scratch to save what was lost, and a long trip this will be one to restore the gang to its correct apprehension...though landing in the bathhouse with Mikey and Draken isn't exactly the place to drop in. It's time to really set things right in Toman, and Takemichi's journey will be a fruitful one this time. New ED, and it strikes hard. |

| Man.. seeing Naoto mourn like that for Hina made me tear up for him but boy it was a lot to take in. Hina's mother gave Takemichi his gift to Hina that she holds so dear to her till the very end. Takemichi can only see one way to prevent all this is to aim to the top of the Toman. We also see what happened with Draken and how did he end up in the prison and above all on death row. He really hates Kisaki just like us and his real identity is still unknown. Takemichi went back into the past and ended up in a bathhouse from where they're gonna go for the nomination ceremony of 3rd captain spot. LOL. He sure has a bit of bad luck. But. let's see how the next arc goes. The new ED is great as well. |

| The switch up tho! Takemichy snapped this episode, finally we see him go from the crybaby hero to the vengeful hero? Jokes aside he seems to be more invested into it, this time he was pressuring naoto instead of the other way around, maybe watching hina die before him made a switch go off in his head or something? Having to rewatch hina getting crushed at the beginning was ill-spirited - DAMN YOU ANIMATORS! - yeah I could have skipped it but it was fun wallowing in the pain lol. The funeral service was intersting, though takemichy would be more broken but I guess him knowing that he can turn back time to before she died reassured him, but when Hina's mum came over and gave him Hina's prized possession, that was the straw that broke the camels back. Must be tough having to bury your kid before you, and it seems like Hina's mum was holding out her emotions to make sure the young'uns were fine, now I get where Hina's wholesomeness stems from! Takemitchy wasn't crazy when he wanted to be the captain, and him pushing naoto was nice to see, but naoto ignoring his messages? What a noob lol. Takemichy's home still seems to be derelict as hell, but I guess garbage piled up after hina's demise. Did not expect draken to be in jail, especailly not in death row, that was left field, but hearing his regrets puts into perspective how manipulative kisaki is, goddamn. Kisaki's reasoning doesn't help either, since he admired Mikey but now hates him? Is he a cursed yandere or something? The bath scene was jokes, bringing back a lighter tone to the episode, with the two scrooges obviously battling out. Reminded that draken looks like a greek god and is around 15/16. Yeah definitely see middle schoolers like that, especailly ones who are in gangs and have a head tattoo! Jokes aside their little petty fight was jokes and the reference to takemitchy's head was quite the laugh. I did not expect them to come out the onsen for takemitchy to be crowned the 3rd division commander though! Decent episode, well paced honestly, wanted to see some more grief over hina, as the recap was a tad too long imo, feeling like MHA but yeah. |

| Ahh, Draken is not in a better condition nowadays either... I don't know who he killed, but if he has no regrets, I respect him They still haven't interacted with Kisaki and I already hate him... Takemichi's idea is crazy, but we all know who he is and he means it with a good heart 😂 Back to the past, these moments are gold. Now or never his chance to become captain 0.0 The new ED is fire |
| naoto breaking down BROKE me wtf. but it was nice to see draken and mikey still goofing around in this latest time travel, valhalla arc coming up i am Not ready. new ed too !! i rly liked the first ed song but this one definitely fits the show better, especially for this other half |

| I gave up. This is the best anime of the year, but I'm stupid and can't understand anything in this show. I'll simply accept that and leave. |

| Dropped this series. The writing is terrible. Started reading the manga from Ep 12, read the rest of the Bloody Halloween arc and came to the realization that everything in the story serves to perpetuate the plot. Numerous illogical stuff happens, that completely ignores previous interactions and relationships between the main character and the people around him almost as if Takemichi doesn't exist. Takemichi has basically no character development since he decided to standup in the fight club. Honestly, there was such a good build up, its really sad its hampered by the writing. |

| nooooo why'd they gotta change the ED lol, definitely prefer eill over this one. but part of me feels Takemichi's plan of becoming toman head will lead to an ending where Hina lives, but they won't be together rip |

| That was an emotional episode, rest in peace Hina. Takemitchy will def save you in the future. Naoto's breakdown hurt me like crazy. But don't worry, we got Takemitchy. He will be the top guy in TOMAN for sure. Main target: Kisaki. Nice ED. I prefer the old one tho. |

| And so the Bloody Halloween arc is finally here. After realizing that they can't change Hina's fate, Takemichi vows to deal with Toman at the root by being their leader. Naoto discovered that Draken is on death row for multiple homicides. I'm guessing Kisaki forced Darken to do a job and take the fall for it. So Takemichi goes back to the past once again and ends up in a public bath with Draken and Mikey. The Toman gang is going to introduce the third division commander. Who will it be? I like the new ED. |

| Takemitchy want to go higher in the toman gang as a leader. Draken is in a prison because he kill someone and that all is because of kisaki tetta. Draken, mikey and takemitchy have their fun in the bath. Good to see that they smile again. |

| Draken being on death row is depressing af, maybe they should just kill Kisaki and be done with it I've had enough of this dude the bath scene was precious af though, seeing Mikey and Draken's banter along with Takemichi's confusion was a hilarious and much needed change of pace I like the new ED but I am glad they kept the same OP because I love it so much |

Bro what how is the writing terrible Issues with realism: Gangs that rape other people turning up for fist fights and not bringing knives or the like. Naoto being intelligent, but not devising any sort of strategy. There is nothing stopping Takamuchi going back providing information that is impossible to know unless he did time travel (E.G Lottery numbers or w/e) and then using that to dictate events. Issues with character progression: 0 character progression for Takamuchi subsequent to him deciding "I'm not going to run away" in the fight club scene. Any progression Takamuchi makes within Toman is ignored and forgotten for plot convenience. Takamuchi saves the life of Dragon and Mickey, and also keeps Toman from disbanding and "every knows this". Yet when Kisaki turns up, Mickey completely ignores any advise or warnings that Takamuchi gives, even though Takamuchi warns correctly on many other occassions for pure plot convenience. Logical flaws: Mickey or any of his confidents either being oblivious or uncaring about Kisaki's past in Moebius and how he split up the group and manipulated people, and set up the fight between Moebius and Toman. When, Tokamachi aquires this information 0 attempt to share this with anyone in Toman. Again for plot convenience. Mickey & Dragon are relatively intelligent and this information is freely available. Kisaki literally manipulating people with an invisible hand, for pure plot convenience. For manga readers, when you find out about Kisaki's actual motivation, it basically destroys the character. The character motivation for Kisaki is so ass week and stupid, that is basically makes the rest of show look dumb. He is probably one of the worst written atagonists in anime/manga history. Literally, causes multiple characters to break character from the rest of the story with his "manipulation" god tier skills. There is no real exlpanation as to why they break character, or what changes occurred, apart from that its convenient for the plot as it creates drama and tension. Oh and it gets even better when you find out what happens to Kisaki. What a dumb way to write that. Of all the things that could happen to him. The writing is all about "pay offs", and completely forgets the setup. The only strong theme and well written setup is the "guy pulling it from behind the scenes" and the mystery initially surrounding Kisaki. But then the writer fucks up on the "pay off" by literally screaming at the reader how immature the writer is. I would easily rate the first 12 episodes as a 8/10. Then it just goes downhill from there. Valhala is setup quite well and then the writer wastes the opportunity. |
