| TEN COMMANDMENTS: 1) If Evangelion and Psycho-Pass are his only 10s, he probably also worships Tool and smells like cheesy puffs 2) Freudian psychosis =/= good writing 3) Moe blob art style is only ok in pure slice-of-life comedy 4) It's ok to enjoy shounen. Having fun is allowed 5) It is not ok to enjoy isekai (jk, it is, I just fucking hate it) 6) Creator breakdown =/= good writing 7) A story does not have to be wrapped up with a bow. Life is messy, why would a good story need to be tidy? 8) InuYasha is proto-Twilight 9) Ecchi CAN be good, but is almost always an abomination 10) If God is real, They allowed Super Kid to happen, so fuck Them |
| I Fucking love Megumi. Her facial expressions this episode were hilarious lmao. The duel at the end was really fun. And that misunderstanding with Danji being gay lmaooo. I’m looking forward to seeing how everyone develops. |

| While the on going joke has been beaten to death, it's still a very fun episode, and letting us get more used to the characters, and their personalities. Now we know our main dude's deck, and can't wait to see more of it. |

| god Megumi is do f-ing annoying this episode and yu-yu's voice is still horrible but so far I love the rest, still don't really get the rules of the game but I still enjoy watching it and Danji senpai is a husbando material |

I'd love themes of self-acceptance but right now they're treating homosexuality like a punchline and if Yu-yu and Danji actually hooked up and this really is all just clumsy but earnest? Danji seems to be older by a relatively wide margin and that's pretty damn creepy. But it's not earnest. The idea of men wanting to fuck Yu-yu has been the singular running "joke" of the first 2 episodes. I don't see how someone who's gay wouldn't consider this crap at least slightly problematic. |

| This sure was a gay episode. I'm fine with Yuyu x Danji shippers since now there's at least a real reason for them to exist, unlike with previous Cardfight protagonists shippers. You can tell they're trying really hard to avoid what the previous studios did with the card games where every episode they had to design and animate 30-60 new fantasy creatures lol. Though I'm surprised they didn't animate their main Grade 3s or even Trickstar. But even with this very "organic" cardfight they showed, I was still strangely entertained. What I'm more interested in is that ominous black haired dude they showed at the end. Is he the new rival? Foe? Throwaway villain for one episode? Who knows? |

I don't see how someone who's gay wouldn't consider this crap at least slightly problematic. yeah, getting tired of watching all those bad jokes just so they can muddy the waters. if there's one thing the industry loves, it's pedophilia. if they made yu-yu a girl, would they even be hiding it? they clearly want to, between the crossdressing and having the other characters tell him how much they love seeing him as a girl. this show is a mess. i think i'm going to drop it. tomari and zakusa all but confirmed they'll keep threatening us with a bad time so |

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one cuz, big yikes. I'm all for gay stuff but I didn't realise it was this hard for writers to stay away from pedophilia. It also looks like this new style of fighting might be here to stay and I'm not the biggest fan. I'll watch episode 3 cuz it's out but I might drop this at this point. |
| This is the worst Vanguard anime so far. Yuyu is a terrible main character. Worse than Aichi ever was. |
