Damn, this episode was tense. Benimaru is also such a badass while Rimuru tries his best to fight the usual good fight.

I like the role Rimuru took this episode. He stands as a capable leader and voice for his people. Really has became a symbol of inspiration.

as we know, Tempest is in danger. Rimuru managed to avoid the battle and the worst possible. That barrier wasn't a hard thing for Rimuru, it's just that I like Benimaru's battle. Many people died from that, and Rimuru was in despair. Seeing Rimuru's expression really good, only the facts still cover it. Myuran and the others meeting went well and yeah, It ends with Clayman's facts.

Damn, the battle scene and sound effects are great, also nice move from Rimuru.

Tempest City was full of blood, and Youm doing Dogeza to protect Myulan, what a nice man.

Also what happened to Shion btw..

Damn, that was an intense fight. Rimuru looked like an actual leader there today. Benimaru was great as well. Everything was great. While it was a bit sad to see Tempest in such a condition.

Just what happened to Tempest bruh! So many dead bodies, so many people died. Wtf man seriously wtf. This turned so bloody all of a sudden.

Rimuru finally knows it's demon lord Clayman who's pulling the strings. What move will he make to save his people now?

Aw shit best boy Mollie is here finally. I was thinking they’d get a little further with this episode, but they’re taking their time and I respect that.

Think this episode did a good job of laying out Rimuru’s guilt and anger. He feels he let his people down, which will be key in what he does next, but I’m a bit disappointed because there’s a perfect cliffhanger they could’ve left off at in this volume and they didn’t.. the big reveal would’ve been a perfect end to the episode and would’ve fit the title “despair” a lot better.

I’m guessing this season will end at volume 7 or they could start volume 8 and leave off a few chapters in. They gotta stop with these 5 minute episodes tho, went by so quick!

Hinata really showed how powerful she can be,its a good thing that Rimuru pulled out(literally) before she could finish him.

Its so sad to see Rigurd and others trying to hide the chaos and death from Rimuru, knowing that he would blame himself. Rimuru finally realizes how his actions changed the power balance in the region.
well that's just my opinion.....

Rimuru's Gluttony form against Hinata, what an undertaking. One Rainbow Dead End strike vs. making a clone of yourself, the latter is the real deal, but it also shows how fearsome Hinata can be.

Rimuru making into Tempest when the worst was over, and the scale of the tragedy is a sight to behold. The order of words that were meant for peace in Tempest, were the SAME words that haltered and haunted their actions to fight back as potential.

Mjolmire's outsider perspective is essential for their backup restoration plan, and the stage is set between Demon Lord Clayman and Rimuru...the first of many confrontations.

The start of the troubles...

Rimuru getting out by the closest of margins. Making a double to transfer over to. The great Rimuru could not defeat Hinata straight up with that barrier. Hinata is a force to watch out. The episode mostly boils down to Rimuru getting caught up to speed about what happened in Tempest while he was gone. That moment of rage we saw Rimuru have in the plaza seeing all the dead citizens who fell by following his orders it was intense. I could feel the anger coming from Rimuru. Glad that he didn't kill Myulan since this whole thing isn't her fault and we know shes being controlled by Clayman and her barrier wouldn't have been enough on its own anyway. They mentioned a few of the big names except Shion which is concerning. Better get the full story next week.

Rimuru was really lucky in that fight against Hinata Sakaguchi. To make a double, that was clever of him.

It's really sad seeing Tempest in that state.

They didn't do Rimuru's rage scene justice, pacing is once again a mess, Rimuru's despair barely lasted a minute.

And Rimuru is just such a big dumbass

But the way she grows feelings for youm is making my head boil .Everything is going on a bit too quick. In episode 4 they barely know each other (which i would prefer). But However the next episode starts with youm sleeping in her lap (which made me think whether this is the correct season)

Was Myulan in control of her actions? Or was she completely controlled by Clayman? Just because he can listen to her thoughts doesn't mean he has full control of her actions. Unless someone can correct me on that info.

I read the spoilers as to what will happen next and I'm really not fucking satisfied of how they handled her.

So Rimuru escaped from Hinata using... shadow clone jutsu? Kind of anticlimatic, but immediately followed by a bit of light moments with that licking and his slime form expressions, before plunging again into the super serious stuff.

Man oh man, those eyes were just... damn. You know what I'm talking about! Good for mjurran that the great sage gave him that information which calmed him, otherwise she would be dead meat.

The outside perspective was a great one; it's the economic losses which matter a lot, along with the holy faith reason of Falmuth.

I won't deny that what happened to Tempest was terrible. I'm surprised the Knights of Falmuth didn't just raze the city and wipe everyone out. They had the numbers and the barriers. I'm glad Tempest didn't target humans already living in the city. That would've even furthered the divide building between humans and non-humans.

I'm hoping this is the prelude to a huge battle where Tempest assembles their alliance from Blumund, Beast Kingdom, and Dwargon to counter the threat of the Church and Falmuth. Maybe Ingrassia will send an army too.

Where is Milim in all this?

Yes Myulan could have been portrayed a bit better and and i really dont want her falling fir youm or gracius. It is as though the production team is rushing things.

Unlike last season i am now feeling annoyed at how the pacing is going on. As i repeated countless No. of times The way they Handle Myulan is pretty bad.
For Example, In Episode 4 Myulan and youm barely know each other. But in the following episode Youm is sleeping in at myulan's lap [which is infuriating (;_;)]
And Now when i see youm i get annoyed (I liked him very much before this).

The rage was supposed to happen this episode, it's cause of the shit pacing it was left out. And yeah, the despair scene should've been longer, in the manga it was WAY longer, they didn't sit and talk with Myulan until later.

Face it, the pacing is an absolute mess.

So for now the Shisho and Gobta are somewhat safe.

But what about Shion and Gobzo? I still believe Shion's alive because she's a waifu, but the author may pull an uno reverse card. For Gobzo, I think good boi might actually be dead.

Now it's time for Rimuru's plan. They have a week in their hands. I'm sure he'll come up with a nice plan.

I have a question, I seem to remember both Demon lords Milim and Carrion saying in one way or another that they would defend Tempest and the Jura-Tempest federation incase of attack. I understand they are at war with each other and all but I really doubt they wouldn't stop the war for well Tempest. Anyone got an explanation on why we haven't seen any action by them, or even see Rimuru contacting them? (btw dwargon should also be there considering they're trading partners and large ones at that)

Episode was okay for the most part, but felt as though it petered off. The fight was insane in the beginning and Hinata's power is crazy! I like how level-headed the salaryman rimuru was when he saw the deaths of those whom essentially he had caused. Kinda wished there was a rage scene where he goes crazy, but guess not!

There will probably be a rage scene next episode. The council is still dodging some sort of news that they're afraid to tell rimiru.

Wow Rimuru's new form really is pretty unique. Still its to Hinata's credit that she isn't fazed by it at all. Running was definitely the right move though. The size and power of the invasion forces though means that not even Rimuru's elites can come out unscathed. Seeing Tempest in flames though sure is a sad sight. Given that Myulan was the one that created the barrier Benimaru and the others would naturally want to take her down. Its unfortunate that this forces a conflict between friends to occur though. But the number of innocents killed by these barbaric scum really was horrifically high. What hits Rimuru was the hardest was undoubtedly the fact that his own rules had a hand in creating that toll as well. Overall an excellent ep that while not as action packed as the previous one made great use of emotional impact by showing the staggering costs of the attack on Tempest. Curious though at what Rimuru's next move will be though.

It felt like everything in this episode could have been told in 10 minutes. After Hinata left Rimuru showed no sense of urgency getting back to the kingdom, then when he does return, nobody can tell him what happened for 8 minutes.

Why didn’t the ninjas take out the people putting up/keeping up the barrier? Or is it that barriers are so OP that they take little magic to create and you don’t need to be there to keep it up? Many people were required for the barrier around tempest and it still wasn’t stronger than the one Hinata used. How does she have THAT much magic to still be able to summon spirits and an incineration spell? Why didn’t Benimaru protect the citzens instead of going after the girl that 2 allies are covering for and clearly regrets her actions?

The characters’ actions are so frustrating and even if there are logical explanations, this anime does a poor job at conveying them. I liked that people actually died, but it doesn’t look like anyone of important died despite being completely overwhelmed.
