【 IMPORTANT NOTE 】

• Exam arc is finally here, the next year, 2021, I'll be very inconsistent in MAL. I'm Asian so you'd probably know how hard education really is here. This is my final exam which will decide my career path and it's a very big deal, I'm aiming for a 95% score, 85% score is the average in my country, anything below that and your result automatically becomes bad, sooo, I'll really have to work hard. By being inconsistent, I mean that I might not reply to PMs, profile comments, or reply to Discord messages for an unspecific amount of time. But don't worry! I'm trying my best so I can do a little bit of everything, studying and watching anime, I'll do both! My finals are in 2022, but I have to focus the entire 2021 into studying, just so I can get a good grade. All I ask is support from my friends in MAL and your prayers! I don't know how many people here see me as their friend, but I'm sure you understand.
• I am literally one ban away from perma ban, if I don't reply or accept your friend request for a long period of time without any kind of notice, I'm probably banned forever. I can do nothing about it.
• 02/12/2020 Update: Yes, I got banned for the 5th time. I was banned in Nov. 2 and got unbanned in 2nd December.
• If you need to talk to me urgently then contact me on Discord because I'm always there.
• Don't act rude with me and expect me to behave politely with you. As long as you behave nicely I will respect that and I will also act politely.
• I'm not an elitist, neither am I a casualist, I'm in the middle of them. Elitists tend to take anime too seriously, nitpicking all of it's flaws, and casualists just watch anime.. they just watch...

Hello there!

I'm Arin. I've been watching anime since 2012. My first anime was Sword Art Online. I've watched Pokemon, Dragon Ball and Beyblade as well but I didn't acknowledge it as an anime, SAO was the first anime that I've actually acknowledged as an anime. Then I got into Naruto and then, eventually, I started watching a lot of other animes and started reading mangas as well. Anime has helped me get through certain stages of life, hard ones. I've always seen anime as a way to escape reality, every time I watch an anime I immerse myself into it, I try to feel like the protagonist, try to sympathise with him. Anime is truly the greatest gift ever. I always had a genuine love for Japan, anime laid it's foundation. I already knew about MAL but never opened an account but I found out how its really helpful to keep track of animes and the database is huge. So I made an account, I'm still making my list that's why it's currently private.
