Takashi continues to prove why he is called King by being THE KING in fist fights

That was a nice conclusion to this 2 episode arc. Wish this show had episodes like this previously because I think it would have been more interesting in my opinion. Also nice to have a new ED play at the end.

Thankfully the war has been avoided. Makoto had to work some magic to stop any escalation between Hiroto and King. Those damn punks from a few episodes ago coming back around here wanting revenge. Trying to cause a rift in the G Boys so they can assume power in Ikebukuro. They had everyone fooled good until Makoto started to figure it out. Hiroto still probably has some animosity towards King but I hope they can patch things up. The Red Angels weren't behind the attacks like I sort if suspected which us good. I wonder how they becoming a bigger player in Ikebukuro could effect things going forward. I wonder if they'll get more power to rival the G Boys by the end of the show. Had some good fights too with Shadow making a proper introduction to Makoto and King. That brawl in the video store was nice. King has some good boxing skills while Shadow is s brutal fighter. I hope we see more of him later on. Have to see what comes next for Makoto, he seems to want to shake his nice guy moniker that everyone sees him being.

Good on Makoto to manage saving Ikebukuro from war. Decent 2 episode arc, was enough to keep me interested. End fight was pretty cool with that shelf falling scene. I just know that this anime would be way better with more fighting/guns.

I have to admit, Makoto had some iron balls to try and stop the civil war before all hell breaks loose.

Majima and Andou came back for some payback and we also got Shadow entering the drama. What I actually found amusing is where some of the fighting took place this episode. All those hentai in the background lul

The arc was pretty good. Good thing Makoto was able to avoid an all out war between the G-Boys. I wonder if Hiroto and his group will be able to get back into the gang though I doubt it.

We got to see Shadow. The way he fights is brutal.

Hah! So its actually a gang of five from the OK holdings trouble, the real cause from all of the previous mess. Dang those boy, almost cheap kill Makoto by doing those dirty intimidation act. Gladly, its just stop that, only to let the camera proves who he was. Lol. What a lucky situations Makoto get out there to revealed the real culprit. But, its not only that, he suddenly get a handful help from Kenjirou man, Shadow that somehow irritated for those backstabbed scheming that worsening his reputationa aroung the Underworld. By taking a nice deep conversation he aggreed to help, beating those poor but dumb knight leg, and took a sweet revenge of those cheap thug of five. Lol.

To my surprise, but really understandable. Makoto did the last effort to prevent G-boys warring each others by persuade Red Angel leader to step up a bit between those two faction. Well, its actually a good drama, but really anticlimactic on a several attempt at its process toward the peak. The example of how the thug generally met Makoto at those CD shop on a purposes, but the camera position became an armor to progressed the plot swiftly, really a shamed for me. Then, Shadow appearance and his handful help. Except Red Angel that was simply an angel, so i don't have a complain with Makoto plan on them.

Well, as a closurement, i can't say its bad. But, really a bit of let me down to narrated the deal until the end, and made it lack a better execution. Fortunately Shadow was a badass, and his action was a pleasant. So i don't mind all the negativity, at least for now....

It was a really entertaining arc. The new ED was nice. I don’t care about the low score, I really like this anime.

The background surely made the fight more entertaining lol.

I want to see the Red Angels’ leader to fight again. He’s an interesting character all over.

The Winter War continues, and without King Takashi, Makoto has to take things on his own accord and address between the G-Boys.

Another rival group trying to get a cut of the Ikebukuro gang turf, "Shadow" to contend with, and the Red Angels taking advantage of the rouse. Thankfully, with evidence, the OK Holdings guys are back to exact their revenge under another coporation, but Hiroto is just a lost cause at this point.

"Shadow"'s reputation hanging in the balance with some payback, and THANK GOD he did damage to Hiroto (because he deserved it). But as if that's not enough to convince a leader, is his army of men that only knows how to kill and lay waste to enemies, to which the Red Angels' interventation with Makoto finally ended for internal conflict.

And to end it, the 5 cheap thugs vs. Shadow, King and Makoto with some decent brawling action. This won't be the last time we'd see Shadow, I've got a good feeling.

A decent end to the 2-parter arc.

Honestly I couldn't care less about what's happening about this whole Shadow, King and Hiroto stuff and hardly found any excitement because lots of talking, not to mention they way it ended was very anticlimatic. All I can say is, it's very amateurish mistake from the rabbit mask to not recognize the camera when he attacks Makoto.

Also, I was just thinking that IWGP would be sooo much better if those first five episodic adventure were not through told by Makoto as a focal point. Something like you know, different episodes different personality Whether it is by King, by Hiroto or even by those Red Angel. Because honestly I did see more harm than good by using Makoto only because he's still a pretty stereotypical anime lead and other characters are very paper thin as a result. It fits the title of this anime aswell by doing this different protagonist thing, making it to be a world-centric rather than whatever happens now.

Of course there would be some supporters coming out of woodwork saying how underrated this anime is. Ffs it's not. It's gonna be forgettable when the next season coming unless the rest of episodes is so so amazing, which I highly doubt it.

Nice episode!

Hiroto and his faction are all morons. lmao.

Shadow is so cool, like an assassin!

1v3. Takashi showed why he's The King!

Ikebukuro is once again peaceful, for now.

Tsuda Kenjirou is a perfect fit for Shadow.
I just love that voice.

Really good arc this one. Lots of action and solidified some characters.

Really smart way to end the war, through FEAR and complete DOMINANCE.

With this war being resolved so easily, I can't help but wonder if there's a catch to it or not. Something doesn't sit well with me.

i'm trying so hard to like this show, i mean like makoto, i like takashi, the plot always seems to go somewhere & then just gets so underwhelmingly resolved........i find it really hard to care.

shadow seems like a pretty interesting character, i guess.

the sound direction is great tho, and the ED this episode was great.

I guess this was one of the better episodes. Arc was decent but should have been longer. It could have been built up from the first episode. One thing that immediately comes to mind is actually developing Hiroto so I give a shit when he does this whole betrayal thing. Not to mention that could have been well telegraphed with signs of power imbalance and the like. Instead we spent most of the time watching a fruit seller play at being a private detective/fake gang member for 5 episodes.

Pretty good arc but, I think it would have been better if there was one more episode because the problem just seemed to have been solved pretty easily. Either way I still enjoyed it, now I wonder where things will go now. Will the red angels start a war themselves with their increasing influence.

Shadow was pretty great though, Tsuda Kenjirou never disappoints. And Takashi's fight style may seem simple but, it sure as hell effective. While Shadow just brutally destroys his opponents.

That ED was pretty great and I saw that it was the theme song of the original live action show, that's cool. Looking forward to the next episode, hopefully it's more multi part arcs.

This arc was not the best, but it was decent considering how Makoto stopped a civil war between the G-Boys. Also can someone edit the ED theme section of the song, I want to do it myself but I might fear of being cucked by the mods. Anyways, good fight scene between the Five and Takashi,. Shadow was amazing.

Makoto is back selling fruits. Takashi is still the KING, while Hiroto is badly injured And the Red Angels might be spreading its influence now in Ikebukuro. Who knows what Shadow is doing now, he is OP.

Not a bad way to end this arc, but I feel like they could've built more tension between the G-Boys and Red Angels. For some reason I felt like all of it was very rushed. So Makoto's "trial & error" ways of solving the situation kind of didn't make me feel like the ending result was worth it. Idk, maybe it's just me, but I personally think there was room for more here.

This episode was a bit disappointing for me except the end. Shadow has Tsuda Kenjiros voice which was nice. Seeing king being happy at the start of the fight, dang. Hiroto deserved Makoto getting dark and hiring shadow for him. Man I can see the fight stirring in the end when king kinda glanced at the red angels.

This episode was soooo good. Actually, the whole arc was really good, the best so far. I'm glad the Red Angels didn't get involved in this mess, instead they sided with Takashi. At this point I'm surprised that not Makoto is the leader of the whole group, seems like he does a better job at it than Takashi lmao.

Honestly, I should have expected Hiroto's followers to be as brainless as him. Makoto's plan of using the real Shadow to deal with Hiroto while keeping blames away from Takashi was actually good but of course, there is the possibility of it being useless when you are dealing with such close minded individuals.

Pretty boring mini-arc overall. Any sense of tension was null and the way how the supposed gang war was avoided was too easy for my taste. The introduction of Shadow's true character may have been the only interesting part.

I am completely disappointed by the anime. It straight up goes from AOTS to another seasonal. How the hell you make every conclusion to be so anti-climatic?
I could pass the ending of episode 01 as it introduces us characters.I could pass the ending of episode 2 as it introduces Red Angels.Episode 3 was straight up ahit.Episode 4 & 5 were good even though the issues were resolved quickly.

A miniarc called winter war which ends with a whimper.Makoto resolves the fight between gangs like it's a fight between bunch of kids.Knight's faction was already at a disadvantage as they were only 30% of G-Boys.Also the bunny is a big dumbdumb as he cannot see the camera filming him.

This was an awesome episode. Hiroto is just lame. The fact that Makoto cleared up who was responsible still didn't change his suicidal plan to beat Takashi was testament to his lame aura. As far as Shadow goes, that dude is the ultimate lone wolf. I wanna see the Red Angels in more episodes going forward.

Firstly, I am happy the war ended before things went bad, also Yamamoto was behind all this, not expected. These guys were so weak, but damn, the real shadow is actually on point with his skills. Some guys got injured but I guess that’s better than bloodshed. The guys movie did well as well. Win-Win.

Just rewatched this episode for the first time after 3 years and it's still as good as I remember it! The fact that Shadow, a top professional of the underground world, acknowledges both Makoto's and King's respective skills is so unbelievably cool!! This has got to be my favourite episode of the anime 10/10!!
