Also Mafuyu and Nariyuki indeed met when Nariyuki was a kid and looks like he likes her ever since then. Welp Mafuyu has something to say, wonder what her reason for turning down Nariyuki is. Maybe something related to his father? |

| Great chapter as usual. No shock that Nariyuki was initially rejected, wouldn’t be the ice queen if it went so easily. But damn that “I can’t let anyone in” line gave me flashbacks to my ex. Classic emotionally damaged woman. Looking forward to seeing how Nariyuki breaks through with best girl. Edit: The level of craftsmanship that goes into the sensei ass panels is amazing. |

| It's definitely not all that surprising that Nariyuki got rejected, considering how this route just started. Mafuyu being nervous about Miharu's date with Nariyuki is cute to see. From the dialogue in this chapter, I wouldn't be surprised if Mafuyu also has feelings for Nariyuki, but she simply doesn't allow herself to share those with him. I can't wait to see how their pasts will mingle their romance. |
| Those panels of her lying in bed staring at the ceiling just had me going, "oh no~!" I hope Nariyuki doesn't lose heart, because this could play into the "All I can do is chase, and never catch up. That's me." line from #179. Based on how the chapter ended though, I don't think he is going to fall into self-doubt so much this time. He worked hard to be able to catch up to her and I don't see him backing down unless Mafuyu says something that REALLY hurts him. If that happens the onus would be her to make it right. That probably isn't where this route is going but, we'll see. Jealous Mafuyu is adorable. "I don't care!" Yeah well, I don't believe you. XD I also glad that Miharu has come around on Nariyuki. I knew she would be a great ally to him if she accepted them becoming a couple. It was funny to watch her hijinks in the main story but I really like her in this chapter. She knows how to push her sister's buttons! I'm glad some pieces of the backstory were filled in. If the other routes are any indication we have passed the halfway point, so we needed something here. The callbacks were to chapter 102 with that pure Mafuyu smile during the flashback section. What Miharu says back in that chapter is also interesting if we spin it forward to today, "But big sis, you sound a bit happier now. That's what I want more than anything!" (That's also the chapter where the former music student, Hino, says, "Wow! I'm sure the path will be fraught with thorns, but I wish you both great happiness AFTER graduation!!" *plays the wedding march.* Coincidence, I think not. XD) How Mafuyu moves past the walls she built for herself is going to be exciting to read over the next 4+ chapters. Her saying that it isn't the confession itself that bothers her but more her insecurities is telling. We'll see if she can move past this mindset that she hasn't been able shake - that everyone is out to get her as explained all the way back in chapter 49. I can't wait to see where it goes next! |

| I thought there was more of a 10 year separation between them, not 7; gotta give props to Miharu for being chief winggirl! Nariyuki has to do a lot more than say a simple "I love you"; they are adults, not highschoolers. |

| Great chapter like usual, and that line "I can't let anyone in" is quite ominous, but kinda fitting for the Ice Queen. Really interested to see what she means by this. |

| Well y'know what This is like a déjà vu Nothing new here If you change the other routes a bit and the main female character then here you go The Sensei route is here The problem here is that to complete one's route they either skipped a lot of time or forcefully put a backstory, nothing more Fumino and uruka's route makes sense as those two routes were comparably well driven But other routes especially ogata's and Asuka's routes are very poorly executed |
| So I guess that flashback is meant to just not have happened in the other arcs. That kind of thing really does feel like a big asterisk to the "they're all equally canon" thing, whenever it happens. |

| Well Nariyiuki got rejected, but at least he was able to tell Mafuyu how he feels when he confessed for the second time. So Mafuyu and Nariyiuki met each other at the school festival not once, but twice. Maybe Mafuyu needs time to process her feelings for Nariyiuki. |

| Kirisu back in the rink, you love to see it. It was kinda obvious that Nariyuki would get denied, after all it is early in the arc, but one thing I am liking about this Nariyuki is his tenacity to keep confessing for all the times he couldn't before. |

| Very interesting how each route has been adding events that could be considered canon in the entire overarching story. Like Kirisu meeting Nariyuki when he was a kid at the festival. But didn't she say she didn't go to her school festivals due to skating? So maybe this is actually just Sensei arc only. |
