| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- They did a great job on Patton he was known for his temper and the way he spoke, which was crude he believed most of his soldiers would appreciate that more since most of them where young. Bradley being there is also done well, they where good friends. Shizuka being nervous was funny, it also shown how much she idolizes unit 501. Tho she fell because of it. It was also nice seeing her worried about Miyafuji, it's clear that she idolizes her more that the other and she was looking forward to working with her. I also like her memories from the movie that being said tho i miss someone from the movie. On the other hand Miyafuji having trouble with her magic is getting old, she had a special unit which always appears near the end of a season yet at the start of a season it's nowhere to be seen. Which makes me wonder where it is. Let's just hope she can fly again soon and teach Shizuka the ropes she we can see more action with the two of them. |

| What an entrance by Shizuka. That was hilarious. Too bad Yoshika can't fly, for now. Curious to learn how she will overcome it this time. I have to say, the generals at the beginning, with Patton and Bradley, came out of nowhere. |

| Shizuka certainly made a funny entrance. Nice butt, too. XD It's a shame that poor Yoshika is having issues with her magical power, which has greatly shortened her ability to fly, but despite that setback, she and Shizuka made a very good combo team, along with Mina, to take out the increasingly smart Neuroi. I had to laugh, though, when Yoshika blatantly described one plus point with her magical power issues is that she rejoices in having someone else carry her, so that she can enjoy having the feeling of some nice boobs being pressed into her back. Yoshika, you little cute pervert! X3 |

| Normally I would be mad that they are shitting on Miyafuji again by restricting her magic. Then I begin thinking about how she has been through so much already. This can only mean one thing, that she is about to get even stronger. |

| A few niggles, nothing that hasn't already been mentioned. Mostly re-hashes of old ideas like Yoshka losing her magic. Again. Still, I've seen enough Strike Witches to know that those niggles get overshadowed by the end. They'll probably take it somewhere fun... Or yuri, in this case. Nice to see the focus on Shizuka coming into her own and finding her own reasons to fight, rather than just to follow in Mio/Yoshika's footsteps (slipstreams?). I liked the more big sisterly aspect of Perrine there, that was nice to see. I knew she'd be better. Particularly given how cool she was in Operation Victory Arrow. Matured a lot since season one. And Minna doing her thing at the end there was, as always, awesome. Nice, next one's about Shirley. Never really got into her character, so I hope the next episode will build on her a lot more. So far, it's been pretty promising, but I know I'm ridiculously biased. |

| Here's a bit of trivia: the 501st's base in Road to Berlin is modelled after Fort Erfprins in the Netherlands. The real base doesn't have such an exquisite castle on site, but the star-shaped moat is definitely real. |

| great ep honestly love Shizuka being here she became one of my faves ever since she appeared in the movie but not only that its great that finally Yoshika finally has a partner as everyone else is always paired with someone while Yoshika was her own thing this whole time but now got Shizuka which imo they make a really nice & cute pair with that said im really hoping it doesnt take to long for Yoshika to get her powers back to normal but we'll see anyway looking forward to next ep |

| Funny episode and well done in terms of graphics and animations. The title and the narrative induce a sort of deja vu and it is so at the end of the episode because in some ways what we saw in this episode is reminiscent of an old episode of "Strike Witches". The comic moments and the serious ones intertwine well and the result is more than satisfactory, thanks to all the characters, among which Hartmann's always stands out. The fanservice is revived, not the implied one, but the explicit one, which sees Yoshika expressing a certain pleasure for the position he occupies alongside Shizuka. Eheheheheh!!! |

| The plan to counter attack Berlin has been postponed until the port got repaired. Ofc, its very obvious. That general really intriguing me, typical temper general. Lol. Shizuka-chan first introduced herself to the unit. Thats some nice introduction, Officer Shizuka! I mean, nice ass! The rest was the typical. Miyafuji really became a role model to her junior, and Shizuka-chan obviously loved that affection, even though she might feel a bit uneasy with Lynne much affection toward Miyafuji. Its getting good, until Miyafuji suddenly got a bad news. Ah, shit. She got nerfed! That bad disturbance came again from the previous season. A magic blockage intervened Miyafuji's magic power resources, made her unable to stabilized the power output. Ah, its really an annoyance. At the end, the storyline itself followed the same procedure as a first part of the season 1. Lynne and Miyafuji first cooperation got changed by Shizuka-chan and Miyafuji combination. Lol, its fine. For the sake of a good image of Shizuka-chan in the middle of veteran witches like them all. She really need that kind of situation to make her character stronger than before.... Okay, next! |

| Shizuka's entrance was something that no one will never forget. xD Yoshika and Shizuka makes a great duo! I really love their chemistry and teamwork. Poor Yoshika, though. She has problems with her magic power. |

| Gertrud and Eila trying not to laugh when greeting Shizuka's butt.. ;P Don't worry, Shizuka, that Lynne is so close with Yoshika.. You'll get close with her in no time as well, if you live together now.. ;P Or you're not worrying about this, but something else?.. A bit strange Eila's reaction at 11:16.. Is she being absent with her mind a bit or something?.. Well, Sanya stops her instantly, but a bit strange reaction of hers.. Well, glad that Shizuka got a bit through her initial fear.. 501st wing is one of the most famous wings in the world, after all.. Great responsibility.. It still can be a beginning for Shizuka's path.. Or maybe she already found inner strength.. Who knows.. |
