| First pleasant surprise of the season. The protagonists are trying too hard, but this is just the right setting for it. When your grappling hook motorcycle with deployable railgun doesn't feel out of place you've done something very right. |
| A cyberpunk dystopia. A bunch of ruthless criminals put into a suicide squad group. A normal person that has to learn how to be a criminal to survive while being the straight (wo)man. Good music?! Good animation!?!? Hell yeah brother. |
| Man, this is so over the top and dumb, i love it lmao. I think its actually my favorite first episode this season so far. The only big problem so far is the goddamn censors. |

| "Dropped money is bad luck" Depends, but the girl was just foolishly honest xD And wow, this is nuts. All over the place, but really fun. Especially like the "Doctor" already. Saving a life with some casualities, now that made me lol. I'm on board based on first impressions, potentially good if it manages to stay an entertaining spectacle. I just hope this won't aim too high and shoot itself in the foot with a non-coherent narrative. |

| THE CAT SPAKE. ...So that episode was a stylish punch to the face. I loved it and really can't wait for the next one. Ep. 2 of Higurashi 2020's gonna be pretty dull compared to this, lol. | The one thing that did capture my attention is the setting, especially in the beginning opening scenes. Not sure if I like that main girl...is her name really "Ordinary Person"? I just can't take her seriously so far. Tbh, I kinda got Cyberpunk 2077 vibes from this, at least from the world fiction content. |

| This was so over the top and fun. For anyone who's played the Danganronpa series, you can obviously see this is a Kodaka anime: The character designs, the interactions, the subtle danganronpa references (the music cue towards the end). Only instead of mystery we get a sort of cyberpunk battle royale. What's strange is that Pierrot actually did a great job with the visuals. This would be much worse with weak art and animation, and yet they delivered. |
| Seems interesting so far. Also, I haven’t watched too many anime that try to use 3D in the show but the ones I have seen have been horrible. This show’s 3D is actually pretty good. |

| Bro... I really really loved this episode. It is a great introduction, even if there were some clichés, stereotypes and some generic shit, it was still so good. All of the negatives are now just blind to me after that mind-blowing action and visuals. God I love this. I was actually searching for something like this for quite a long time, this really did very well. It started pretty meh, and then was just still meh until the climax scene, those visuals were literally godlike, great great episode. Some Akira vibes and a little bit of Psycho-Pass vibes. I love Akira so I might love this as well. I loved this episode. 8.1/0 or just 8/10, very very good so far. Looking forward to it. |

| I love this. Seems like it's a futuristic setting with criminals so powerful if they teamed up they could probably take over Japan. This show is a original and that's what's so great about it, no viewer knows what will happen next and it gets me hyped up for what's to come. The soundtrack is fire and the animation is great. Not to crazy about the names though but they fit the character properly. Amazing first episode |

| Noblesse fans on suicide watch. Everything about that first episode was amazing, they immediately draw you in with the world building and showcase what kind of society it is and the restrictions imposed in the name of safety, the cars are physically prevented from driving off the road, throngs of robotic cops, digital currency likely tied to some kind of social credit score, wide spread surveillance. All that comes across setting up the antiheroes as freedom fighters and allowing you to get on their side. The character design of the cast is varied heavily with no one character being bland, they even built up the power structure by equating it to potential sentences. You can establish a hierarchy immediately and understand the power disparity amongst the akudama members and then compare it to the normie girl who is a minor offender. Just in a few frames. They used exposition to explain the hacker character but the genius of it is that he is likely a loner and loser and talks to himself, rather than show what he was doing they had him narrate unlike the other characters. Now compare to Noblesse where every character is a palette swap of the next with the same gay face, there's no investment, the pacing is a mess, they spent 10 minutes on a slice of life to try to build up the world and do it through exposition that falls flat because people who haven't read that trash don't even get the joke. Not to mention the choreography for the fights is newgrounds circa 2006 tier. I expect great things from this. Kodaka is a bit one note with these death games but I hope this story doesn't use the same beats as his other stuff. |

| Damn! That was such a fun episode, I had high first impressions for this one and was not let down. The setting pop-ups were nice transition from scene to scene as well. Reminds me of the danganronpa games(for obvious reasons) and they couldn't have chosen a better VA for our girl mc than Tomoyo Kurosawa 5/5 |

| As expected from Kodaka and Uchikoshi, our Gods and Saviours. Damn, I've been tricked. They said they are done with making death games so I initially thought this is just going to be an eccentric anime (after all, they are the creators) but they didn't say anything about death games in anime! What a pleasant surprise! This was definitely the best first episode of the season so far, I liked it even before the ending with that awesome visuals and Danganronpa character designs (didn't like the ugly CGI cars but everything else is amazing so I even forgot about them). I really hope they provide us with yet another mindfuck experience like always. The protagonist seems like the classic naive and cute anime protagonist, I just hope she lives long enough to be called a protagonist (I'm looking at you, Kodaka). All in all this seems really promising so far, I hope these 12 episodes do this anime justice and, of course, I wish for more people to enjoy the creations from these two. Also, why is gore censored? |

| The bomb necklaces reminds me of Danganronpa Gaiden: Killer Killer, hopefully it doesn't end up being as stupid as that though. |
