Felt like a surreal episode from Echo's point of view and the discoveries he finds.

There's more info dump about the show's history especially the tragic elements. It's a terrifying reality to accept but it is what it is. Seems this anime is preparing for its final episodes by reminding what's at stake for the future.

What a cliffhanger :o

Every time I think I understand what’s going on with the plot, the show throws me for a loop again. So I’m guessing Echo was seeing all of that in his mind? We’re definitely on our way to the final confrontation with Mu where echo and her will have to confess their feelings for one another.

The nonsense continues. Every time they bring up the idea no one in this world knows what music is I have to remind myself that is the case cause they do such a bad job at convincing me that this world with no music actually exists. What that confusing, run-on sentence really means: world building sucks.

This was a confusing episode, it really feels like the story tries to talk about too much things at once
That horned Mu looks ridiculous xD

Another episode where the plot confused me a lot. Echo was seeing that all in his head and now we are left with a cliffhanger at the end. The leader of the earless is apparently named Listeners as we find out after the credits.

So Mu was I guess created from Jimi's likeness? Or something. But lost it's memories when it came here. Now some idiot has awakened it. What a moron.

Another week and ... No, this time, it's not another simple episode of Listeners.
This has been THE EPISODE so far.

What kind of revelations have we seen this time. The truth about Jimmy, the true identity of Mu and Echo discovering many things. A really surreal moment.
It's sad to know that the series is almost over when it's actually having its best moments.

Looking forward to next week !!

Well, that was pretty interesting. I still love the art style and the music grows on me more. Should lead for a pretty interesting ending hopefully.

I wanna say that I was close to understanding what's going on and that the show kept throwing me off, but I have to be honest, I never really understood the story. So this whole episode was just a dream Echo was having in order to become a Player and that the titular Listeners is actually the king of the Earless? That's what I'm supposed to take away from this episode?

The biggest criticism I've thrown at Listeners is that tries to balance fast-paced mecha action with mystery box storytelling. At first, this particular approach worked because the action was fun and the show promised the mystery would be understandable and easy to follow. As time passed, however, the action became stale and the mysteries became too convoluted, at least to me.

It's really hard for me to care about a TV show that cares more about superficial qualities than the lifeblood of the story, the characters. It took Echo 10 episodes, 10, to get some semblance of character development, so better late than never, I guess. Even if Listeners didn't live up to my expectations, there's still a chance for it to end on a high note.

A lot of info in this episode. So Mu was the girl Jimi found and she's the king of the earless huh. Also Listeners reffered to her too wow. The backstory part was good and so Janis was Jimi's actual little sister.

The flashback episode to why this series was created in the first place, the context of it all: Echo, Mu, Jimi and the world-building.

With Echo being banished from Londinium with the force from manipulated Mu's attack last episode, he ends up somewhere else to recollect his thoughts and purposeness so far...and start a renewed life...?

And getting into the episode-titled "Crossroad Blues", the mystery searing towards boith Players and Earless, plus the vinyl records of memories...an actually simple plot with easy understanding, but with a very comvoluted way of storytelling. A crossroad to simplify 2 routes of your choosing to forefront the future, but have no absolute idea of what it can foretell of the actions and consequences of our actions.

Listeners, the term for the King of the Earless...if there's one thing I can simplify, it's that
"History repeats itself: Those who cannot remember the past are comdemned to REPEAT it."

The calm before the storm, and I don't know what to say about it, other than being bombastic in its' final stretch.

The end credits each week are the best part of the show.

Great mix of music and art.

This was confusing as usually, but I still liked this episode and its melancholic atmosphere. Probably my favorite one so far.

Also these sceneries remind of Monogatari a lot

how considerate, the king of earless would still give them 7 days...that's a lot of leeway.

Probably the best episode of the series, I actually felt relaxed and compelled.

Behold of my awesomeness~

N...NO idea what happened this episode, i keep getting confused more and more, i really don't understand anything... if she is his sister then who is Miu?
Also i really don't like the fact that they made Miu the ultimate final boss, really don't like it... And i guess that's it for antagonist? so much for him... he was actually quite interesting, i really wanted a proper end for him as he is a really big piece of shit which is a great trait for an antagonist, but he just got reduced to dust... great >_>

2 more episodes and this anime is over :v

Second coming, second doomed. Cmon Echo kissed that bitch so she could finally shut up.

The origin of Jimi felt like a trainwreck, sure its same with their memories. Poor Echo to feel that shit. But, once again, he would come to end the Listeners. Great joke, from the musical references, once again

This episode feels emblematic of the entire show- a collection of really neat plot thread and set elements that could be woven together into something really special, but instead are simply randomly throw around.
