| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Jean became a brave man after all. Great episode imo. It was more dramatic than expected. Isabelles father while dying in the fire, like as if he was possessed. Quite chilling. And seems like we're about to enter an even more dramatic finale. It's just a shame that things are happening so fast now. There was already a lot build up since the first episodes, but I think the events could've been fleshed out more for this kind of series. |

| Isabelle's parents are now dead, and it's deeply affected her. Meanwhile, Theirs imprisons Victor, and plans on executing him, but Jean breaks him out, and they all head toward Paris. Can they get past the soldiers? |

| A bit sad that Isabelle's parents died, for their deaths made her sad. On the other hand, it's not as bad because they are useless characters. I hope I'm wrong, but Jean might die in the following episodes. With all the time he spent with Isabelle, I hate to admit that they have more chemistry than Victor and Isabelle. Victor and Isabelle are the better match, but at this point, their pairing feels forced. Let's see if there will be good developments between these two now that Victor is aware of her feelings for him. As for Jean helping Victor escape, it may be a plothole. How did he set up multiple bombs without being seen? And how was he able to time the explosion? They're not hi-tech in those days. |
