| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Lol, that Eagle girl is fun to watch. I find her more entertaining than Gripen considering how outgoing she is towards others. I see a jealous Minghua there. On the the other hand, we also got more aerial combat featuring the main characters yet again. Kinda feels like Gripen is having more anxiety since that event from the previous episode. I see they threw in some dramatic music to make the battle flow. Kinda catchy though. |

| Well it seems there is some development tho nothing to great. As usually the drama was forced and i am starting to wonder why i am still watching this. I was pretty much here fir the aircraft but it's clear that those aren't the focus of this anime despite being done pretty well. |
| Ya know in the ending it shows eagle wearing sandals , but in the actual anime she is wearing boots. So finally Gripen can now kick some Xi's ass, but she need Kei to be on her side in can can be called a link like that in Darling in the Franxx . |
| The first segment and the comedy with the exaggerated faces was really good, Eagle was fun as well xD Pretty much the most entertaining and emotional episode so far. |

| Hmm Eagle's attitude sure is a contrast to Gripen's. Minghua's expression on seeing Eagle and Kei though was scary. Kei's idea sure was daring though but indicative of the bond that he has forged with Gripen. Hmm so the Xi's first force was a decoy while a second force advanced under cover to hit the base. Kei trying to support Gripen by taking over control while she stabilised the link sure made for a tense moment. Though she joined the battle either late Gripen's entrance sure was dramatic. The insert song was also pretty good as well. An excellent ep that did well in not just introducing Eagle but also in showing the efforts that Gripen and Kei's bond had on solving her personal struggle. With this i think the dynamics of the story has changed. |

| Kei sure was pulling some G's right there. Iether way, Gripen is cute for sure. But Eagle is also very waifu worthy imo. I think Eagle is my favorite now. Protecc the combat airplane waifu's made from Xi bits and pieces! |

| If there is any merit to this show, it's that Eagle's come onboard and what a hell of a show she's put to exterminate the Xi. But for the defective Gripen, all is but in the wall. Even at the expense of trying to play hero, Kei moves along with her (effectively FranXX style). Which means...Kei and Gripen are a (forced) team now, and hopefully no romance is involved. And of course, more air combat and forced drama as well. Barbie 03 Phantom debuting next week, hope to see more. |

| My favorite girl is finally here. She sure is super energetic and cute. I find annoying is Kei just running and leaving Minghua again to go to Gripen. Is this a running gag. As expected in the OP, Kei needs to be with Gripen for her to fight properly, The G's are too harsh for a human to take but he pulled some nice moves. The action was great. The fat guy is a nice person letting Kei escape with Gripen to avoid beiing taken. He's a good guy despite his looks. And finally, and lastly, we'll see Phantom next episode. Trio will be complete. But according to an info from the LN, There's two more girls. But I don't think we'll see them in the series. Forgot to say the action scenes were amazing and engrish soundtrack is amazing as well. Would love to get the full song. |

| fun episode liking the new genki girl HUGS i found the music charming in the theme it usually goes for but the song when they started to fight was good then the lyrics kicked in and shit was great |

| Too bad Eagle was pushed into the background as this episode progressed and gave that annoying shitty bastard Kei another spotlight. This was supposed to be a 'girly air force' and not an 'obnoxious bratty shitty bastard force'. They give him too much platform and it sickens me. |

| An expected moment happened : both Kei & Gripen discovered they could / had to fly together. Although it sadly skipped Eagle's introduction but as I noticed on the next ep trailer, she should get more attention. Nevertheless, I just hope Phantom's introduction won't be too quick, more like a "last minute screentime" so that she gains her own proper introduction. |

| Spent everyday shooting down Xi...that means Eagle must be good... I don't know about you guys, but I love chibi skits. "You probably snuck in so that you can take Gripen away, right?" God damn it Haruka knows everything. The anima manually control their missiles right? That puts them on another level compared to humans. They're gonna use the expressway as a runway for Gripen? LOL! Geez, Kei must have been struggling just to keep his composure with Gripen's flying. Now that's what I call fast-paced! Haruka smokes in hospitals! Liked the music and the action this episode. Also, that OP theme is a banger. And looks like we're meeting Phantom next episode! Yay! |

Thanks for that. Will remember this song as the time when.. while dodging laser fire, they totally raked the midsection of a giant spaceship with a machine gun. Amazing what Gripen can do when she's not falling asleep. |

| Eagle has an attitude of a kid but has a body of an ero adult! i liked the OST when they are dog fighting against the Xi... 4/5. looks like next ep would introduce the 3rd girl! |

| Phantom on next episode, great. Kei can control and fly together with Gripen? No surprised, but his body damaged. Can he survived? Ofc, he can. Eagle with a kid personality? Good! So, it seems theory by people here referring that Gripen maybe had a Kei's mother awareness maybe right. Still need more episode to explain everything. So far, the battle feels good for me. Ofc, they win over that huge army. What else? |
