Ah, Anzu meets Hina again this episode and it's quite amusing to see the two together. Poor Hina, she got disowned!

Interesting to see Hitomi and the bar again. Poor Niita, he is so stressed this episode. However, Hina apologizes for some her recent actions and I think she did the right thing. The episode had less over the top comedy compared to some of the other episodes but still pretty entertaining imo.

Lol, Hitomi and ramen.

Disowned Hina! Well seeing her with Anzu's always a treat. Just like a married couple, and well...Nitta and Hina's reunion was pretty sweet. And Hina will always have options in the music industry if things go south again. XD Meanwhile best-girl Anzu remains way too pure for this world as Hitomi found out the hard way.[

Hina is a real piece of work. Not even capable of being homeless lol. At least she found a way to get some money for the vase in the end. Hitomi has really settled into her job; i'm glad it's working our for her.

Anzu really impresses me with how positive she is despite everything.

Great episode again.

Poor Hina, she isn't even capable of being homeless. Anzu was pretty savage with her comments there. XD

The rock band dudes are pretty amusing, I hope we see more of them. xD

Hitomi is such a sweetie. <3
Just how much money does she make though? xD

Good we start we the last episode left off. I'm glad they kicked Nitta out of the bar.

Oh even Anzu got rid of her.

Good thinking by Hina using her powers to make money like hat, even helped that other band out a lot.

I knew they would get back together eventually.

Hitomi is doing an excellent job, and now she is making friends with Anzu and helping her out.

Good job staying awake even that long, I would have no hope, though it was funny seeing her asleep standing like that.

Hina got disowned nooo. I like when she met Anzu again. Hina was acting like a NEET. Poor Anzu, she couldn't support Hina, and she got kicked again. Those struggles.

Hina meeting the band was hilarious, she using her powers to attract people. The band had great future. Niita's face during the perfomance was funny.

Hitomi and Anzu interactions were amusing to see. She only wanted to sleep for a bit. That stand in the end lmao. Comedy wasn't that strong this episode but was still enjoyable.

I said this before and I'll say it again: If this wasn't such a hype season, this show would be getting a ton more attention.

And it honestly deserves it. It blends quite well comedy and heartwarming moments, all under a wacky premise like: "Yakuza dude takes care of esper girl". And all with some pretty decent animation and designs.

This episode in particular also showed that this series can also throw a few minor curve balls at the viewer, like how instead of becoming friends Anzu just ends up kicking Hina out as well. And the last segment focused on Hitomi was pretty damn funny as well.

Well, Hina is the worst at being homeless. But oh my, what an adorable episode! I mean, kind of. Hina and Nitta are just like daughter and father, that's what cute.
And Atsushi made his appearance! He sounds really, really familiar.

Also, Best Girl Anzu made her first friend! Poo Hitomi, though. At this rate, she's going to die from overwork.

that was one of the most intense street performance ever. flying and shit.

it’s nice to see Hina being responsible, she’s way too spoiled around Nitta, not even suitable to be homeless.

Hitomi seems very out of place knowing what happen around her, like seeing a father disown his own son and a homeless child whose job is only collecting cans. and she can also sleep standing that’s a skill right there.

and it’s amazing seeing Anzu never once use her power to get money, even though she can do that easily.

to be honest this episode is slightly disappointing. they skipped a lot of good chapters which make hinamatsuri what it is(yakuza stuff, school stuff, and nitta's family stuff)

it's sold as story about yakuza guy and esper girl, but by now it's pretty much already become a story about househusband and an esper girl

this studio is so far trying to make hinamatsuri as waifumatsuri

Poor Hina, Nitta couldn't handle her anymore so he had to kick her out. So she stayed with Anzu instead, but even then, she couldn't handle being homeless. Hina playing with the band was great. She made enough money to buy a vase for Nitta, how nice. Hitomi and Anzu interactions were funny. Hitomi fell asleep standing lol.

To me this is the most enjoyable anime of the season so far (though I haven't started Steins;Gate 0 yet), while Megalo Box is probably the best one. Friday is deffo a great day with these two airing. Another wonderful episode!

I liked Hina and was rooting for her...until this episode. She annoyed the hell out of me being a leech to those around her.

Anzu and Hitomi are becoming more likeable as their characters develop. I haven't read the manga, so I don't know, but I hope the episode keep up this pace thus far.

Question for the manga readers. There any chance we might see some action? Just curious as to whether or not the beginning scene in the first episode was a tease of things to come.

This was too funny xDD

Hina may be an airhead, but so fucking adorable. Loved the moment when she gave Nitta a new vase, made me feel all warm and sentimental.

I also enjoyed her performance with the street band, hope we see the guys again.

Hitomi was great tea, first as top class bartender, then as Anzus friend.

5/5 episode

This show is so good.

Nitta should have just told them the truth about Hina.........Hitomi's teacher is now a frequent in the bar.

I wonder what is the, Japs idea behind throwing salt on the floor whenever they ask a person to go away, like what happened to Nitta when Utako just slams the salt on the floor?

Anzu too pure for this world. When's she gonna get adopted already? OP hints that someone takes her in eventually and I can't wait.

I do somewhat pity Hina. From what was said in the first episode, she was only ever used as a weapon where she came from, so never learned about how to survive alone or how to act around others.

Enjoyed this episode, but didn't feel like it was a funny as the last two. Still, this one was very heart warming with the reunion of Hina and Nitta as well with Anzu and Hitomi becoming "friends" haha. Poor Hitomi. She just wants to go home and live a normal life. She's so confused by everything that is happening around her. Loved the scene where the bar shamed Nitta, and then later on when Anzu commended Nitta for putting up with Nitta.

I wonder where the anime goes from here.

Hitomi has some serious Japanese skill: falling asleep while standing is something I have only seen with Japanese people, they do that in the morning when commuting.

Yup, the manga developed this bratty side of Hina way earlier. The pacing is good, but it seems they have to carefully choose which events will show the different sides of the characters because of time.

It's like purifying evil spirits and wicked auras. I think it just meant that he was not welcome anymore, because to them he was a disgrace.
Throwing salt at the entrance is a way of protecting the house from evil unwanted guests. LOL

I just realised, Anzu could totally do what Hina was doing.. Just use her psychic powers to do "magic".

No one in this world would understand that she's using psychic powers so it's not like she's at any sort of risk!
