Whoa, Mahmut's fighting skills are impressive. He managed to escaped from a pretty grim siutation.

Armut and the others also made it out alive as part of the plan. Orhan is such a funny dude, I can't take him seriously especially when she's with a pretty lady. Mahmut and his group took a big risk imo this episode but I think it was worth it.

I also think Armut is an interesting character this episode. For a person of her status, she still feels the need to hold a lot of responsibility.

Yeah that's what I like about this series' protag, he's not afraid to kill. People think because of his design he's bitch made, but secretly the guy is a monster.

Very nice to see the rebellion being started, and we meet other contenders for their country's respective Sultanats.

Ending was hype, the dude Bayazid got heat with those guns lol.

Mahmut does hesitate when he kills. Took me by surprise. It was nice they started the episode if the fight.

Aishe is an interesting character. She isn't the typical princesses. She's too good for Orhan.

The subtle comedic moments were pretty damn funny. The painting scene with Abiriga being impressed with the painting of his and his face beforehand for example XDDD

I'm surprised no one has yet commented on Mahmut's good looks as a trap. Very impressive, LOL.

Firearms, if there ever was one big nullifier of numbers, it's that.

Mahmut's fighting skills are amazing. He took down those guys really well. Him sneaking into the city as a woman was funny. A rebellion has begun. They are outnumbered, but with guns, they have enough firepower.

Wow awesome episode.
The princess was pretty darn badass this episode, the characters are really growing on me.

I like the prince's design a lit (Especially with the hat) but his voice being the same as Shirou's shady voice is shady.

I assume the next episode the sultan will die unfortunately..

Mahmut is a damn good fighter, that scene was awesome. And not gonna lie, he looked pretty good as a woman (I wonder what they used for his boobs). I'd smash.

Looks like they're making successful alliances in this episode, and Beyazit (I think that's how it's spelled) pulling out guns at the end was cool. It looks like that was enough to convince Ismail. Looking forward to what happens next.
People on MAL refuse to actually enjoy watching anime.

Your taste in anime isn't a personality trait.

Ismail's design was nice, and his name being Arabic-ish is also nice (Easier to remember for me) but doesn't he look shady as heck? Damn dude.

Bruh, those facial expressions when the Prenses said that she had a fiance was priceless. I want to turn that into a meme now. But some hype shit is about to go down and respect to Mahmut this episode for sure.
Don't believe the hype.

There's nothing more fun than playing with fire arms in an RTS game...

Even with only 77 fire arms... if these are being used for the first time, if they positioned and used correctly there will be mass panic and relatively high casualties.

This is why I love Traps... because you know that the person doesn't know they're a trap. It makes the scene more Hilarious because Süleyman is perfectly playing the part of a man in love all the while Mahmut is like 'god damn... why me?'
Mahmut is now my favorite Trap!

I'm slightly disappointed that Mahmut wasn't the one who came up with the main plan for the coup but that's just me nitpicking because looking at this other way means a leader know how to utilize his capable man too.

Man, even more things are happening in this episode! There's a lot of jumping from place to place with the pacing going really fast, but they really covered a lot in this episode. We got to see the perspectives of the other two stratocracies. Forgot the names already, but one of them is a pretty weak nation and don't have the power to rebel if war broke out, and the other isn't aware of the consequences of that trade route being made from the empire.

Oi! Abiriga! Where'd you get those chopsticks?

Mahmut going on the offensive this time, with an eagle assist! If he's going to be leading the rebellion, I really hope we get to see his tactics come into play. And the good thing about pretty boys is that they can cross dress for a perfect disguise! I wonder where they got the clothes though...

Well I guess Balaban wasn't kidding when he likes pretty faces. I guess he's the type to never forget a face, especially with how accurate those paintings were.

Aishe was definitely the highlight of this episode. The young lady knows how to get political. I'll be looking forward to see what she does later on.

Hehehe. You got a crossbow? We got guns.

You got that right. A large group of Hand Cannoneers in Age of Empires II were OP as hell.

Oh man, this show is great!

So the Princess is 1000x smarter than that idiot Prince, but I think she has the hots for Mahmut. But when she said that the other person might not love her back, that could be because of Shara, who Mahmut met earlier, or because of his devotion to Torkye.

Those guns will definitely help decimate the armies of the other Sultanates, unless of course they are getting reinforcements from the Empire, in which case the shear numbers of enemies could overwhelm their rebellion.

Such a fun series. One of the best this season.

Historically, troops would have to train extensively to effectively use an arquebus-like firearm. But my skepticism is overcome by the excitement and sense of adventure of this series.
...but then again, I unironically like Warau Salesman.

I don't think Mahmut has any advanced feeling about Shara, nor does Ayshe knows about her. Maybe she was implying the person was indeed Mahmut, but i got a bit intrigued by the way the camera just cut to Beyazit. Maybe i'm seeing too much. Maybe

So on this ep of Shokoku no Altair we got the rematch between Mamuth and Rod Orm and on this time Mamuth defeated her easily cause he has a Reliable Comrade now than before. Mamuth has been assign by Zaganos to rebel against the 4 sultans leader and kill them to stop the plans of the Bhalt rein Empire and also stop those nations for rebelling against Torqye. Love the episode and we get more Prenses focus one here which make it even more awesome and next episode is where they gonna kill or stop 1 of 4 the Sultans

Oh wow, the secret weapon is firearms, haven't seen that before.

For this type of a fantasy genre series the flavour is great, it's unusual and works very well thematically. But it's a skin-deep coat of paint, the story and characters are completely generic and feel uninspired. I've been having trouble maintaining interest in the series, I guess it's time to drop it.

Mahmut char dev, big change from once idealist peacemaker, to a brisk fight where mc doesnt hesitate to try to kill a woman, and a can 10/10 trap.
Aishe quite tactically minded, really too great a wife for that dude. At least he loves her so arrange marriage not too bad.
Guns. Wouldn't empire already have it too with their influence?
