| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Hachiman's sister is just adorable <3 Kinda amusing some kids visiting the student council though. There's more buildup for the Christmas event and loooooool, the hand gestures. I find it amusing how one of the younger girl has a similar personality with Hachiman.  My favorite moments this episode is the chemistry between Yukino and Hachiman. Quite a melancholic mood they've got there that I find quite enlightening as well as the talk they had related to their family. Yukino's independence is quite something as well. |

| Winter season with kotatsu. Funny sibling love. So that kind guy knows what student council president is doing. So that elementary school group from summer camp is helping out. They haven't decided on anything, but Hino-san's character, though reasonable, insists on discussing together. The mood for discussion is like previous ep. Meeting that girly guy, who looked kind of lewd for him. He cheers on the main guy. The smile with sadness on the girls' faces..., even that girl he confessed in junior high when mentioning about their relations to student council president. It seems like the main guy is the leader instead of student council president. He also helps that aloof girl out. lol @ OFC. Yukinoshita, who he met on the way home at the shopping center, understands what he really does and that everyone don't have to worry about her. ED sounds like Yukinoshita solo ver. And lol @ the preview with mentioning of Hino-san's character's hand gesture. |

| Highlights for me -Komachi being her usual cute little sister to her brother. -Yui ''puppy dog eyes'' while asking Hachiman if he's going to the club -Hayama admitting that he isnt as NICE as Hiki thinks (this was obvious but heck) -Iroha having some sort of problem (thats how it looked like to me anyways) -Enter Tsurumi got my heart race (not in a turn on way but in a ''oh fck, gasp'' way) and at least Tsurumi and him got to talk a little (this girl is reminding me of Yukino with a little Hiki or maybe just full Yukino) -Orimoto and Hikki's awkward confrontation Hikki slipped ''A lot has happened in the past'' made him *oh fck* and Orimoto's reply.... the girl's view on Hikki seems to have changed. -The council hand gesture dude that keeps saying ''Lets handle it all together'' and Orimoto with her unlimited SORE ARU~ BG while each of the other school council gives ideas. -Yukino and Hikki's convo while having an inst. BG of Harumodoki (or was it something else... I forgot lol, was focusing too much on their convo) and them ending it with a Solo ver of Yukino. Hino's hand gestures with Orimoto's SORE ARU~ DAYONE~ were trending in the preview. |

| My only complaint is that they left out the bit with Keika (maybe we get it further down the line at some point?). I soooo wanted to see that scene with Kawasaki. They really are going all out with the hand movements with that student council. | However, that room continues to enact its unending everyday life. I always loved the title part of this series it hits exactly on point. Other than that..I was annoyed by that usual "SORE ARU!". Totsuka cute as always. The part where Yukinoshita and Hachiman talk is really beautiful with that christmas lights and snow all around - a perfect background for a sad moment . Also the solo ED. Brilliant 5/5. |

| Not much to say w/out subs but based an what was shown so far Oregairu continues to distance itself from normal highschool anime. Can't wait for subs. |

| I'm surprised how kind 8man was with Rumi. Also after that we've got a 4th rejection from Iroha towards 8man? 3rd? I don't remember exactly hahaha. Yet, it was a good episode. Mr. Crazy-hands was back! I realized (maybe somewhat late) that Yukino and Hachiman are almost equal in their thoughts. That scene at the end was nailed. Oh and Kaori after the credits was EXCESSIVELY ANNOYING. |

| Komachi's letter at the start was cute :3 And so was her "I don't love u but thnx" lol I just love these sibling's interactions :D Yui's puppy face when she asked 8man if he can go to club melted my Kokoro <3 How can u say no XD Also nice to know she already knew he was helping Iroha. I expected her to react differently. Just confirming she's best girl <3 The way 8man couldn't resist taking the bag from Iroha was cute ^^ And damn! I could actually feel Iroha was flustered when Hikki's said he doesn't dislike younger girls :3 That blush was pretty damn genuine :P The scene with Saika was nice. Hikki's blush and all that Saika's cuteness >.< Damn! I really wanted Hikki's to ask Yukino for help at the end there :/ It's obvious that hand movement guy has no idea what he's doing OTL |

| Dat Yukino Ballad... Everyone is depressed right now. Dayone girl shows a bit of development here. (She's still obnoxious as fuck though) Yukino and 8man's convo at the end is truly the highlight in this episode. The preview is really hurting my brain lol. Next week, huh... i'm not sure if i'm ready for it. |

| Having Rumi back is a delight. Orimoto bitch learned how to be respectful towards Hachiman by not being blabbermouth again. +redeem points but still hate her. Now Yukinoshita is talking about the whole club is the only thing they hold them together when last season Hachiman was rejected by her to be her friend. I did not like her attitude when she say that Hachiman can do everything by himself. I hope they will get over with this nonsense. |
| Hachiman's actually changing. He's becoming... human. He's questioning his own methods. Wow. I thought that was just an animation error before, as it was only slightly hinted at. However, since he flat out said, "while my old methods did save some people, it might not be enough." That ending, too... Yukino shows more of her dere side. |

| Wonderful episode. 1.Komachi once again proving that she is best imouto. 2.Still get the feeling that the whole Student Council collaboration is fubar. 3.Isshiki and Hachiman getting some nice moments together. That blush an rejection are too perfect. 4.Yuki speaks a bit of her mind, very much needed for the anime. Great ost used this episode. Weird that they included the Totsuka scene yet no Kwawsaki scenes. Hayama needs more scenes in the anime imo. Hope they perfectly adapt rest of Vol.9 cuz next episode should be great! |

| Well let's go through the romance development point here: Incest romance with Komachi Unrequited love of Yui: An almost Yaoi route with Saika: Getting together with Iroha: Dayone girl become a girl that can be likable to Hachiman: Kind of Lolicon: Yukinon's "break up" with Hachiman: Jokes and pictures aside, it was a very good episode. Starting with Komachi being Komachi, then Yui's interaction of Hachiman develops on the level they're going to the club together (which then destroyed because Hachiman is not needed by Yukino to the club again), then Iroha getting closer and closer to Hachiman, then Saika's yaoi gag for fans, then the Dayone girl have character development of understanding the situation, and finally some Yukinon's ending was awesome! I'm looking forward for next week's episode! Edit: Also that PV though! Sore aru! That dayone girl have to preach everything don't she? In the end she don't know anything... Why is she in that meeting anyway??? |

Komachi is probably the best imouto ever! Really like the way she interacts with Hachiman. "Well, I don't love you, but thanks anyways!" :3 Yui asking Hachiman if he's going to the clubroom and being happy after he agreed to was so adorable! No one can resist them puppy eyes! Tamanawa is just wasting time with the pointless meetings. Do the committee not realize that they only have one week left? Orimoto continues to be an annoying bitch during the meeting! Don't you just wanna bitchslap this bitch hard? I know I do. >.< Hachiman blushing while observing Saika was hilarious! Lol'd so much at his attempt at reciting a haiku about Byouki to calm down. XD Iroha probably got jealous a bit seeing Hachiman with Tsurumi. Her rejection was hilarious as usual though! When would we see her fall for him? Really nice to see Hachiman and Yukino interacting normally after so long, which lessened the tension between them quite a lot. Although they're not fully on friendly terms, this is a major improvement in their relationship. Good episode. Orimoto's voice made the PV so damn annoying! Why doesn't someone choke this bitch already? >.< |

Well since this episode covered up to half of Vol. 9 chapter 5, I believe he was talking about Kawasaki's scene on chapter 3. But I have to agree that most of Kawasaki's scene is completely omitted from the anime, I wonder if it's because Kawasaki have less screen time in season 1, that they're just going with it. | -Komachi was really funny at the beginning. -Wonder why does Isshiki seem sad, probably from the pressure of organizing that event. -Was nice seeing Rumi. Still alone tho, kinda wanted Hikky to apologise to her because his action didn't really solve anything but alteast she's not being bullied. -Yukino and Hachiman seen talking was nice but I wasn't happy with what was said, but she isn't wrong. Next ep and the one after it are probably going to be crucial for the development of the characters. |

| This episode was a lot more serious than the previous ones. The beginning with Komachi's Christmas list was adorable though. xD I really like Hachiman's sibling relationship with Komachi. Komachi is such a great little sister, I just have to say it again! xD Orimoto continues to annoy me. I really don't like her at all. n_n Although, I was quite surprised Orimoto didn't want to tell Isshiki about her past relationship with Hachiman. I figured she would be teasing him but instead she was kind of hesitant. It was nice to see Rumi again. Hachiman remembers her and noticed she still is isolating herself and doing her own thing. Hachiman and Rumi are actually quite similar too, so it was great to see them just sitting there and making those star decorations. Oh, and who can forgot about that small scene with Saika? The close-up of Saika's sweaty face and neck was hilarious. Then Hachiman's haiku internal recital was gold. xD The last scene with Yukino and Hachiman were really bittersweet. Yukino knew what Hachiman was doing and knows that he's forcing himself to come to the club and basically telling him to stop forcing himself. Darn, their sad faces... It's really sad to see how bad things have come between Yukino and Hachiman. The ED song sounds different too, sounds sadder and gentler. I love it though! Feels / 5 |

| I was pretty sure that Kaori would blurt out the whole rejection thing in front of Iroha. But she actually didn't act insensitive for the first time ever. Really took me by surprise. Hikigaya Hachiman, what kind of magic did you use?? That ed theme hit me really hard. Looks like we're in for some intense stuff next episode. On a side note, it kinda looks like most people on this forum only watch the series in order to find some characters to project their hatred at. |
