| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Holy crap, that Harpie wasn't kidding when it mentioned that they hunt down Birk and Ronja again. Pretty intense episode especially for the second half in the waters. I'm also impressed by Birk's swimming skills in the river as well. This boy continues to surprise me each week with what he shows in terms of survival abilities. That cliffhangerish ending though... |

| Well, Klippen's visit turned from happy to gloomy fast; it's easy to see why Birk and Ronja would be so sullen right after. It's great finally getting a peek at what's been happening to the adults, even if there's nothing but bad news. Didn't really expect that there were robbers captured, but I guess it's bound to happen one day with all those soldiers. Still... (and why Pelje? T_T) Last week I was surprised harpies could tell apart red-haired and black-haired 'pretty little humans'. This time it was wonderful to see Ronja and Birk getting away from them because it appears that the harpies don't have a sense of object permanence! (It was nice to be reminded that even with that face, they're still birds). And surprise, their leader has white hair (but still sounds the same) XD The first time in a while that they've nailed a preview! Not even the title gives away anything. Makes one really look forward to the next episode! |

| Well, I was indeed surprised by Birk's survival abilities. Those harpies are annoying but still kinda hillarious with their way of talking xd But that ending......can't wait to see what will happen next. |
| Seeing Lill-Klippen making all those faces was really entertaining! Pelje getting captured along 2 Borka robbers. I am actually glad that Mattis is still putting up this wrath of his in which that it means that he cares, it would be a lot worst if Mattis didn't even care and try to live life normally. With the Mattis robbers knowing their location, it sort of feels like Ronja and Birk's running away is nothing more than a game/camp. Wanted to say that the river was a water park aquarium but the harpies :/ Those near miss and with Ronja panicking was phew, quite hard to watch! An elder harpy too. It was nice to see that Ronja and Birk was so calm together despite their situation. The pv is quite the cliffhanger! |

| doublesuicide No, but seriously the relationship/bond between these two are so sweet. They're fearless little kids, preferring to fall down a waterfall together than to face the harpies. The PV is a definite cliffhanger. I can't imagine either of them dying, but I want to know how they both survive! Also, we're nearing awfully close to the end... wondering about the conclusion. :> |
| Another impressive episode. Klippen's news about life at the castle paints a grim picture. The scenes with the Harpies were great. The Harpies are my favorite creature from this series. Can't wait for next week. |
| d'aaaaawwwww! Ronja & Birk really loved each other as brother/sister as shown in when they are really getting close to the falls! I salute their partnership even in tight dangerous situations. |

| I just love how this show handles expressions. Birk's worried looks as he saw Lill-Klippen, the exchange they had as they neared the waterfall. |
| That ending was so sad and beautiful when Ronja and Birk hugged each other :/ I hope they can flee from the harpies. |
