That was better than expected. I didn´t read genres and thought it was another movie for kids. Turns out it deserves seinen tag and some parts were depressing as fuck.
You all need to watch Nami.

Dead thread but wow, I loved this.
I actually saw it years ago and am nostalgic about it in such an odd way.

Probably as perfect as an anime can get, in my opinion.

It was a really good movie. This contains many messages in each image and dialog. When Mike return to his village and his sister said something like "You're the same as always"... or a friend said "How many people did you kill"... Really the war can change everything in the life of a person but the rest of the world continue as if nothing would have happened. Exellent movie for think about the war and deshumanization of the persons.

Yeah, this film was fantastic. A somewhat hidden gem. Just posted my review on it. Hopefully more people will check this one out; only 340 people have this on their list!
"It's the same sense of loss I feel when a slice-of-life series ends... The despair of knowing that their lives will still continue on, yet I won't be able to see it..."

Did you see this with English subtitles? If so, how could I also see those please?

So this is where Club Penguin got their inspiration. No wonder why the servers got shut down even though I actually never played the game.

Well dis was some heavy shit, gotta respects to all the Penguin soldiers who died in the war. R.I.P

That post war PTSD sucked his life energy dry. Thankfully love can cover up these scars from the past.

Definitely on the slower side for most parts. I almost feel asleep for real haha. The conclusion made somewhat up for it. But still, feel like the penguin gimmick was the aspect that stood out the most.

5,5/10

Didn’t expect PTSD Happy Feet, but I’m really glad I chose to watch this.

Honestly, it’s a bittersweet story with a hopeful outlook on a future Mike thought to have lost to darkness.

I might be a little generous in bumping this up to a solid 7.5(rounded to 8)/10 due to me being a bit of a sucker for anthropomorphic bird movies, but I still think this would get a decent 7/10 if told using entirely human characters instead.

This is better then 90% Of romance, keeps itself interesting with the lack of sound. Thanks random anime generator for recommending this
