| It's normal to feel sorry for characters who have had bad experiences (being bullied and raped), but I surprisingly don't feel bad for just one character and dislike the other. At the beginning of this chapter, we see that Karino was treated as Azusa's 'loyal dog.' I think Karino did or does like Azusa, considering his blushes and loyalty to Azusa... Ironically, Karino never had Azusa's attention, despite how close they were. I don't approve of rape, and I never think it should happen. Maybe in the future, Karino will set Azusa 'in his place'? Azusa is so used to, being the king, therefore having all the power and bullying others, so now that he's the joker (lowest rank in the caste system), he'll know what it's like to be the victim. Maybe Azusa will become more sympathetic. I feel bad for Kusakabe because he found the king card initially, but Azusa made him switch cards, so he became the target... :/ If not for that switch, Azusa would have known what it is like to be targeted by the school population. Again, I don't think anyone deserves to get raped, but I think Azusa needs to learn a lesson for being so arrogant; he honestly believed he could continue to exploit Karino and that just because Karino likes him, he could boss our previous 'loyal dog' around. That's not right, and Azusa should have made the effort to find his own card, instead of relying on Karino to get the king card for him. Interestingly, Azusa was so arrogant that he let Kusakabe take the 8 card (prep), because he "didn't need to be a prep." I think being a prep is better than being the school target... :/ I don't agree with the caste system at all, but I'll see how the story goes from here... |

| Didn't expect the twist with Karino, but g-d forbid a yaoi without rape.. Oh, well, guess I'll read on to see what the author plans on doing with a terrible premise like that. |
