Aww, I didn't realize until I was watching how much I missed Goro's brash cockiness. He's so naive (and hot! -- when did he get that body?!?). ;) And I thought the animation looked better than before, no? What did everyone else think about the first episode? I can't wait for more! |

| Goro was made to hit in America. This could turn out to be my favorite season of Major yet. I love engrish. The map during the episode title is hilarious. Apparently Philly is in New Jersey and Phoenix is spelled with an F. |

| A few minutes? o.O The ep 1 sub just came out today by NEET. o.O; Unless you're talking about the RAW.. and yeah, HD is a plus. It was really sad that Goro got his stuff stolen. But wow, that woman was hot. >_>; Too bad she was evil. And you know, those thieves should have checked the bag before running off with it. -_-; Imagine them going back to their place and finding out it's just smelly baseball gear. -_-; Oops? |

| Nice first episode, goros hair went from very dark brown to black all of a sudden : ). The engrish was horrible, I mean how hard can it be to find a guy who can speak normal in both japanese and english? Personally I think this season looks like it has the potential to be the best so far. |

| I'm glad he got hit, maybe he'll actually learn a different pitch now. though its more likely that he'll just pump up his gyroball instead. still, the fact that they called that batter in means that he's practically guaranteed to get into the rookie league. |
| Great episode, I got really exited concerning this season. I hope it'll be much better than the previous one~ But this episode was pure win for me. |

| Okay this was a good start. Goro once again proves he's an idiot. Hopefully he learns some MORE pitches damn it. However, the Anaheim Salmons? Oh man I think only Angel fans might get that reference...if its meant as a reference. |

| This first episode was filled with so many hilarious moments, great way to debut in America. It's no surprise that Major slugger could hit Goro's pitch, but I'm sure he's at least secured a spot in the Minors now. Really looking forward to this season, hoping Goro gets a solid, reliable team this time around. |

| Well snap, loving the new setting and all . . . But yeah, he probably needs to learn a breaking ball or two, I mean their are multiple pitchers that pitch as fast as him, shouldn't be too surprising to see a clean-up batter able to hit a pitcher only throwing fast balls. |

| That's stupid to be honest. Just cause you're an mlb player doesn't mean you can easily hit a 99mph gyroball? I've watched some baseball, and not every baseball mlb player can easily hit something like that, sure they can hit it, but a homerun first tryer? sure whatever. |
| I'm glad I've found HD quality and that was a good start. It wouldn't make sense if a Major League slugger was struck-out all of a sudden, this season seems it's promising. |
| It's okay Goro. Asian Rookie is a pretty cool nickname. There is worse. Goro is still our cocky little boy. That cockiness won't earn him a titular position though. I honestly didn't knew that the baseball hierarchy was so big. Damn, must be hard to get to the top. Anyway, that engrish is amazing. I don't know if it's gonna get annoying, but for now, it gave me some good laughs. Now, Goro next goal : get some money to escape the hobo life. |

| One second it's Japanese and the next it's English? come on... I was disappointed at first because I thought Goro would be an average player in America.. and then that Major League Slugger came along and hit his pitch without a hitch, thank the gods. |

| This opening of the season has made me laugh really hard XD Goro is really a funny character. I like this new style more than before, it seems more clear. That Engrish though XD. Goro is now conquering USA :D. Great first episode for this season. The studio that do this season is doing really great. |

| A 99MPH pitch is noteworthy even in the Major Leagues, which is why they called their 4th batter instead of some random dude on the team. With Gorou's pitching going that fast he's practically guaranteed a spot in the Minors, and to be honest it's quite possible that he could go straight to the Majors. I think it was a smart move to go straight to America rather than getting involved in the Japanese pro scene. |
| Quite funny,just when Goro thought he arrived in paradise he was robbed. But luckily he met a fellow japanese on his way to the same test,coincidences are a great thing. The set up for this season may be the best so far,definitely going to enjoy this and the engrish xD |

| LOVED to see major in HD, especially since the studio have been replaced, i think they did a better job actually on the art (especially in the backgrounds that wasn't that good in previous seasons) and the OST than the deen. hopefully shigeno doesn't going to be back to his S2 behaviour, there are small hints for that but it might become real. i'm glad goro were able to make a new friend straight off once he arrived to america, hope he will pass the tryouts. and what the hell going on with languages here? one phrase that man talked in japanese though to be englis for goro, goro answers in english-not-japanese and then that guy talked in english with jap subtitles, can't they do it all-one-japanese like in other anime? it's really annoying. |
| Not even 3 minutes in and Goro's luggage got robbed lol. Damn pitching at nearly 160 km/h now Goro, well poor guys who got their fence broken and lost their ball. Interesting start, I gotta praise this series for still having some form of language barrier in place. |

| With Fukushima completely taking over as the director from Ka’sai (transitioning to the assistant director), it results in a different feel (less over the top) from the previous seasons. Which I feel is a nice change of pace considering that it’s now focusing on him being a pro. Despite the pretty poorly rendered CG in the beginning, the art and animation seem on par with Hibari, though the backgrounds look a bit better, which is surprising as SynergySP’s anime typically tend to have pretty shitty backgrounds (the studio did produce a lot while as an affiliate of ShoPro). |
