| That Gibson Jr., What a punk! Do you have any idea who annoying it must be to fix those lights? No, but seriously, he really should have ended it with the fork, that fork ball isn't some half-assed breaking ball he learned an hour before the game or anything like that. Also not sure why he was able to strike out those other two sluggers with ease, then when it comes to the guy who hasn't gotten a single hit all game, he gets a home-run hit off of him. |

| Hmm, great episode. Sad hit to Gorou's pride, but I think it's the best way to go out. He should have known that Gibson Jr. would be prepared for that after the last two times they dueled. |

| Gorou now knows what it's like to face a slugger as good as his father was. He is standing where Gibson stood when Honda hit a homer off of Gibson's 100MPH fastball. In both cases, the pitcher underestimated the batter. Gorou should have ended with a forkball. I'm confident his forkball would have ended in a strikeout. Once you're playing at this level, it becomes a matter of tactics just as much as a matter of raw power. Great episode. |
| i really don't understand that coach, why send those 2nd level pitchers? they totally ruined the japanese rhythm. i'm actually glad they didn't made goro's 100km pitching unbeatable, i hope we will get good conclusion though and won't make japan team unbeatable, at least realistic conclusion, i really won't care to see S3 conclusion like, though i'm expecting better one. |
| Goro's deadball in his first pitch caught me offguard since everyone was playing incredibly well like Kyoshiro preventing the homerun and Toshi's counter on the squeeze ball. Goro truly has improved now that he's able to strikeout Bolton but by the looks of the end he's not the only one |
