Please tell me this show will be better than Blue Box.

I have seen many people comparing this work to Blue Box and frankly I watched 19 episodes of Blue Box and I did not like it and I mentioned my reasons in several posts and the most important of them was the main character and the poor quality of the drama from my point of view.I haven't read Kaoru Hana's manga but I've heard a lot of hype about it so I hope those who have read the manga can tell me if the anime will be like Blue Box or different.

@Swagernator I mentioned the reason just focus when you read. I said that I saw posts comparing the two works and some of them said that they are similar so I want to make sure from those who read the manga because I am looking forward to this work

well you obviously don't like Blue Box so I guess you answered your own question. But in my opinion yes. This series is superior to Blue Box and will most definitely be better

It will be definitely better than Blue Box until they f up on the animation side .

But I think Blue box is a good romance anime . Ya there is the side girl which will never win but the animation , character development and the sports aspect is pretty good .

This is better in my opinion than bluebox. For once kaoru no hana doesnt place a forced love triangle into the story. We all know chinatsu was going to end with taiki. The confession in kaoru no hana is timed properly, not too fast as horimiya not too slow as blue box. It develops the characters nicely as well.

Now the only thing that I think can be said negatively abt it, is that after the confession some misunderstandings happen however they are resolved quickly. This isnt the issue, the issue is the constant apologizing, you could turn it into a drinking game, 1 shot every time you hear a im sorry. For me there were times it was a bit frustrating but at the same time i preferred this than having a kimi ni todoke s2 situation, which imo was quite dumb af.

At the end, to each their own but i wanted to mention this.

I've been reading both since 2023. As to which is better, it's Fragrant Flower for me though the gap ain't wide.
Though in the end, it all boils down to if you'll feel the same way when it airs.

I've read both and it will definitely be better than the blue box. You will become more attached to each character and it has a much better story.

hmm I haven't watched or read Blue Box cause the stay simply didn't appeal to me but I might watch it if I have nothing else to watch.
but if we talk about the fragrant flower i feel it's a good one. ajd I've watched the trailer and the animation looks heavenly. hopefully they don't botch it up.

Could go either way tbh. Both manga are very good, and the Blue Box adaptation is doing well (deservedly so IMO).

It depends.
We still don't know a lot about Kaoru Hana's anime.
Blue Box already has several episodes out and already gained a massive amount of anime onlys.

But story-wise kaoru Hana is way better than Blue Box.

for me, no. this is the classic manga that the protagonist is the "monster" that everyone has fear of it and some girl dont give a fuck about that, and the girl says the classic "tou think this was our first meeting but its not". personally, i dont like these shit

In my opinion trash box is at best 4/10 but Kaoru Hana is 10/10. This show has better story, characters, design, and everything basically. It is also geared towards a more mature audience I feel. You can still hate both but just wanted to say that not everyone puts these two side by side.

Hard to say because anime wise—fragrant flower S1 will probably be better but manga wise bluebox without a shadow of a doubt.
