Actually, the creator of the Vending Machine isekai did a KonoSuba spinoff. There is even a not-translated crossover short story of KonoSuba and Vending Machine isekai.

But Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomo ni, I tortured myself and regret it, and the only good thing is the opening

And also, the MC, Touya is the most overutilized worst MC in all of anime in terms of his arsenal use, his freaking smartphone, and he didn't even lose, like wth?

@bboy_OatsnRice and? I didn't enjoy it because if the whole premise was absurd at least until episode 6 it was believable within his own premise then the boss fight happened and never in my life I felt so humiliated by the sheer absurdity of what was presenting to me. I am a big fan of isekai because essentially they allow writer to try thing with a safe net but with risk allowed but vending machine push that to far.

@Jeremygrandison people have different tastes. It's not something new nothing exist in art media that will be universally and unanimously loved. Everything got it's lovers,in the middle and haters it's why it's art to begin with.

Would also recommend Princess Reconnect, it has the same director as Konosuba and is pretty much Konosuba, but if the party was somewhat competent (not really) and chill.

Very cute series, with great animation, and some good humor to be had.
