| That was brutal. I feel that maybe the manga would have benefitted from holding off on the violence for a bit or being more ambiguous about it, especially when your first act of violence in the manga hits much closer to home than a monstrous otouto killing your classmate with tentacles. Maybe more importantly, having another character who is this imbalanced is too reminiscent of Happy Sugar Life where every character was a sociopath, and it made that manga a bit more ridiculously; not trying to nitpick, but I think there is something special here about it premise of familial relationships, so if the manga wants to say something about it, it should do approach it in a slow, methodical, reserved, and grounded manner. So maybe it was better if Shirono was killed. |

| All that buildup and she's already dead? Damn that was brutal. I have a feeling that's not the end of her though. Maybe lil monster will revive her like he did with brother? The girl was clearly CRAYZY, but damn. Fingers crossed she'll return after all. Feels sad. If not, that's 3rd person who got close to bro and then got hurt, and now dead or disappeared? Him being cursed will sound more legit than ever. |
| Ok looking at kid's reaction on last panel at least it seems he isn't some intentionally evil monster. Still monster but not something in style of "possessed by devil/demon", like maybe it would get emotionally stable and "normal" after growing up and understanding what is doing. Or is just acting... but it looks like author is making some lore to this story than just "kid is a monster". |
