| You know, even with the most recent events, this show just went back to its cherry mood and smiles again. Whatever suits them I guess. It seems friendship and character bonds are still at the heart between the characters. The food gimmick stuff seems to be a recurring gag. |

| I was hoping it was a dream or a premonition, but...Wow, so Yuri is really gone… 😔 Well, the episode felt like a tribute to her, showing flashbacks of how she was when she first met the girls. But the ending was suspicious, and what do you mean Renge knew her from before everything? 🤔 |
| time loop theory reinforced with another mention of Renge's memory I get a strong foresight that we will have two episode arc structure of losing one our girls in one and the little backstory in the next about the our lost girl, along with the survivors grieving then carrying on and picking ouy small bits of joy, rinse and repeat for a total of 5 gut wrenchings. What will happen in the last arc after that?: Timeloop again for Renge? A dilemma for Renge to start it again because of the grief of losing her friends? Defeat the invasion? Prevent the Invasion? Renge bites it? Lunatic delusions of a coma victim who never had friends in real life? Something more horrible, like Renge is controlled by the Wild Hands for some purpose? How sadistic will the writers be in delivering us gut punches? But, by the way, I seem to enjoying the show better than the majority, but I really hate the OP music. |

| Again I know it ain’t the best show, but 3 eps into an anime original did it to be at a 5.91 is just absurd, at least let them cook lol. This was definitely a tonal shift, very upbeat episode considering how brutal and sad Yuri’s death was. Didn’t expect more cooking lol… That upbeat tone combined with Renge’s flashback at the end all but confirms this has to be a time loop and there’s going to be some ideal timeline where all the girls survive. Wouldn’t surprise me to see them all die in this timeline and merge with that weapon like Yuri’s did. For now, Aya doing a pretty good job as leader in Yuri’s place. |

| Episode 3 Momentary Silly So they're standing around talking about Yuri next to where they buried her in a park. The gamer chick literally complains about having to dig in the dirt... Jesus her body isn't even cold yet and they're standing over her GRAVE complaining. Then follows some flashback scenes about Yuri... and this didn't work for me because I don't really want to get to know a character that just died. It would have been better to know her alive, then her death would have meant something. Instead it just halts the plot to reminisce about this chick, and NONE of the dialogue was interesting. It's just girly girls talking about girly stuff for 45 minutes. But at least it was sympathetic when they finally started sobbing. Of course they quickly forget about this and get back to doing fun stuff like: COOKING! The weapons merging was cool I guess, but this show needs more action. Like the girls just sit around in one place talking too much. It feels like it has no momentum. |

She has lost a friend of a lifetime, she is imprinted hard on the 5 girls because she is so alone without her memories, but she still knows so little of who she has lost. |

| @MomoSinX I mean, post-funeral dinners are common as a form of celebration of life and memory. It's not that weird. Also, these girls have experienced a ton of loss before this (literally the whole world and everyone they knew) and thus have a focus on survival and living in the moment. The biggest reason it seems random is the inconsistent passage of time. the death, the burial, the dinner, the meeting, then another (offscreen) fight in all what seems like one day? Why was it sunset in one scene, then clear blue skies the next? Was this over the course of a couple days then? That's my issue with it. |

| Well, at least Yuri was shown in the ED and Renge's weapon merged with hers so Yuri can be remembered but I was hoping that she would somehow come back. On that note I don't know if more girls will die but I am intrigued with the next episode as the preview showed snow when its supposed to be spring, interesting. |
| I guess they completely skipped the fight scene in this episode because all budget went to the trees in the background. If something as important as Main Girl getting her weapon upgrad, they would try to showcase it, but nah.They definitely know their priorities. Overall, this show is still a complete mess and I'm still wondering what direction it will take. This episode we had some recapping, backstory, mourning and coping over death of a Character That We Didn't Get To Care About, cooking, some comedy. It's all over the place. |

@traed it makes sense, but then why don't show at least a single cut of this? i mean they showed several cuts of the weapon's destruction but then they say nothing about it's condition and they went directly to the weapons summon scene like nothing, if they wanted to remark that weapons self-heal over time that was a pretty lame way of showing it, even if the girls know that, we don't.

| LOL ok, 11 minutes of oh no... we're so sad... into chibi cooking segment are you serious. Yuri's death didn't mean anything to me because she was barely a character so this entire episode just felt like a waste (other than to blatantly give a little bit of backstory). No animation of the fight either, why even bother upgrading her weapon or having the aliens spawn in then? Pretty bad episode |

| I didn't need to watch 10 minutes of flashbacks about a character who died 2 episodes into the series. Was I supposed to grow attached to her during that time? But hey, at least we didn't get to see a fight scene which is one of the few things that are actually kinda cool in this stupid, stupid show. I'll keep watching though as the final line intrigued me a bit. |

Interesting visuals and good action are good, but moe and CGDCT elements overload kinda ruin this anime for me, haha. I guess I'm not the target audience. ;p |
