| Damn, the person responsible for the threat letter and crime itself this episode just has a cruel heart. And pulling a bomb out in front of those people.... Psychologically, this case felt more impactful on Ron than other cases. A lot of analysis in this arc though and I'm impressed by Toto's role in this. |

| I KNEW it was the professor. What disgusting pos. To kill Himeno after she idolised and loved him.. and then willing to take everyone out in a suicide attack.. Ron was fully justified in trying to use his ability for the first time. A truly irredeemable demon and to have the nerve to scream “mommy” as he’s being carried away. Big ass baby. God I was hoping for some asspull where Himeno wasn’t dead, but alas it’s a cruel world. A random reunion with people from around the world of various ages and occupations at a restaurant where you stay the night..? Yea someone getting killed lmao. Just a matter of who and why. This next arc should be interesting. A gardener named “lenny gardner” ahh I see this author went to the JK Rowling school of naming conventions lmao |

| Im in a pretty bad anime slump rn so this may affect my opinion on this season. I havent been to hyped to see each episode but they've been good and I found todays episode pretty good as well. Rons development has been nice. Still wish Toto could solve something on his own for once. |
| So it was Professor Aoe after all, good lord I didn’t expect him to be so demented lol, he was ready to take everyone in the room with him but Ron was quick on the counterattack thankfully. Such a sad situation tho, Himeno was just collateral damage in getting rid of that computer data, she won that raffle to use the room but it was really signing her death certificate, and the fact that Aoe didn’t even blow the computer up, it was just to make it look like it did while he wiped the computer using the MRI machine, this is layers of fucked up lol, but I’m glad they got his ass and Monki can make peace with her loss, crazy that such a momma’s boy turned out this way but it did make him look extra pathetic while being carried away. And it didn’t take long for Ron and Toto to find themselves in another mystery when they found an invitation to an auberge (never knew this was a thing until now lol) from seventeen years ago and decided to attend it anyway, and we already have the whole cast who’s without a doubt going to be part of a murder mystery, quite the melting pot of nationalities too, we got an American lawyer and an Italian high schooler, as well as an English gardener whose name is also Gardner lol. It’s shaping up to be an interesting mystery, I wonder if it’ll have any deeper tie ins to Ron’s past or not, looking forward to it either way. |
| Whelp that panned out as expected. That professor was quite the character. Wasn't expecting Ron to knock him straight on the ground. This next mystery seems like it'll be more interesting. For all we know the house of M might have delivered the same letter to these people as well. Have a feeling this going to be one hell of a reunion. Can't remember but did we ever get introductory cards for characters in other cases. It feels very Detective Conan-esque. |

| I was wrong on who murdered Himeno and it ended up being the assistant professor all along, and the motive was to get rid of data on the computer that could've proven some of his research was falsified, damn. The next case sounds more interesting with people of all ages and from different countries being invited to a dinner reunion in the middle of nowhere, I wonder what they all have in common besides the green gemstones (I'm under the assumption that all of the invitees have that). |
