| Already made a thread on it on the Blue Lock forum, figured I might as well do one here too. These two shows are some of the most anticipated anime of this season. It's a pity to see them end up like the way they did. Both shows had ample time to polish and fine tune their respective projects—especially Uzumaki. Hard to believe the studio doing Uzumaki flopped the whole project despite having several years to do the job right. Well, whaddya know. Kinda makes me anxious for the recently announced S2 of Frieren. I know it's Madhouse again, but seeing 8bit flopping big time after a successful first season—you just never know, man. |

And why does it matter if it’s a soccer shounen? It definitely cannot be worse than Uzumaki. I do liked the manga when I’ve read it, but the anime was below mid overall.
Blue Lock S2 is still good, with slight differences in quality, animation, characters and hype.

| I only watched Uzumaki, but its turning out to be one of the worst shows I have watched in a while. Im sure Blue Lock also sucks just by the nature of being a football anime. |
