It's kinda interesting to hear Mizuki's side of his story and connection to Ai, a character he treats with kindness.

Taiyo and the others are still on their mission. Despite what he finds out about Mizuki, he's still pushing forward. Felt like this episode was thrilling but also kinda sad at the same time.

Mizuki's a real one,Ai's true family.Really shown how much of a scum Kawashita is compared to the saviour they portrayed him as before.

Wild scene with instantly killing Kawashita only to reveal his own Yozakura blooming.Hes basically a more powerful Andy from UU making that strong a creature even troubled Kyochiro only with a finger. Also Taiyos massive gun and hardened bullet was sick af.

Mizuki does seem to be a kind man to save Ai like that I think deep down he just wanted her to be happy. Kawashita is truly terrifying especially now we have learned that he can basically regenerate himself.

Glad to see Ai survive but it sucked that Mizuki couldn't live. Would have been nice to see them have a father daughter relationship and finally have there slice of life spin off.

Kawashita has been around for too long but that also means he has learned a lot about the Yozakura family to the point where he has his own blooming. Terrifying man. Looking forward to Taiyou going up against him.

If the brief "next episode" segment is showing what I think it is, it's going to be a wild one.

Both Taiyo and Kyoichiro reaching Kawashita, but Nanao is in danger from Ai and Mizuki whilst saving the test subjects. And even if Mizuki got his salvation, there's just no place for him in society, with the only way to go with Kawashita as a way to use him for the good of Tanpopo, they're just built this way to house people rejected by society, like it or not. Justice may house homes, but evil does need a house too.

Thankfully, Hinagiku is there to assist Nanao, which the latter can now focus on his Blooming as well. The antithesis of Ai and Mizuki being able to absorb poison, Ai is just too young to die because of the excessive use of Para-someinine Hazakura, and Mizuki at least had a heart, even if he killed the scores of innocents, to care for Ai as much as he did see his daughter in her.

To have Kawashita live as long as he did for a century to investigate the Yozakura family since the two World Wars, and also develop a Yozakura Blooming of his own that's someone outside of the family, his Regeneration may be quite the combination with his Hazakura, but it's still an incomplete product that has a weakness or two.

It's up to Taiyo to settle his feud with Kawashita, for the good or bad.

The first half was kinda slow compared to how intense last few episodes been.
Mizuki made a genuine sacrifice for Ai. Atleast he was able to protect his other daughter after losing his.

Kawashita Makoto born on the day WW1 started worked for war criminals in WW2 what a track record. His blooming is really surprising looks like he have some connection to Yozakura Family except his research.
The way Kyochiro used Taiyo as a puppet and then a bullet to cut through that meatshiled of Hazakura members was excellent. I would have loved if these two worked a bit more together but it will be Taiyo's time for revenge against Kawashita should be good.

Glad Ai survived, though the poor girl will be depressed again for a while.

Kawashita's ACE has been revealed, but we haven't yet seen Kyochiro's BLOOMING! I have a feeling he could easily annihilate Kawashita, but he's letting Taiyo "play" with him first.
Kyochiro's blooming may be just GOJO (from JJK) levels of absurd/insane, or I think he always has blooming activated but hides it since his eyes are always closed (know it may be just a drawing style lol). Anyways, I think Kyo could've kept slicing Kawashita to little pieces, maybe even on atomic level but is holding back for now. He's the strongest in the family so I wouldn't expect anything less.

Also, it was nice to hear Yozakura's refused to participate in ww2. This anime would be completely different if they did lol (people like Kyo would likely slice US aircraft carriers or something similarly absurd; potentially saving Imperial Japan from defeat). Sure the author could've made them "pacifists" during ww2 because history of Japan and the world would change dramatically and it can be a pain in the ass, but it's possible author acknowledges Japan was in the wrong during ww2, which is welcome. For those who don't know, Japanese textbooks on ww2 are pretty shit and they don't focus on Japan being on the wrong side, or starting the whole shit and committing atrocities etc.

Another excellent episode that ended too quickly. While the backstories on both Mizuki and Ai were brief they still had an impact after Mizuki sacrificed his life to save hers.

Regarding Kawashita, after discovering his amazing regenerative abilities I'm sure he would've survived the explosion of the island if that happened which is probably why he didn't care if they did that. Also, the Yozakura father hasn't been shown for a couple of episodes now and with Taiyo pursuing Kawashita I wonder if he will pop up in front of Kyoichiro.

It's painful to see when a "villain" like Mizuki has their actions justified by the way society abandoned them. Mizuki suffered, and the only good thing they got from Tanpopo was seeing their deceased daughter reflected in Ai and saving her.

The fact that Kawashita is alive since World War II raises a lot of questions about the dark experiments he must have done on his test subjects to keep himself alive until now. It seems that he has Yozakura's eyes, maybe one of Yozakura's heads gave him its blood? Even though Kawashita has shown great power, there's still Kyouichirou, who seems to be just playing around and letting Taiyou handle things. I feel like only Momo, might be able to take on Kyouichirou.

So on top of Kawashita being a piece of shit he’s a former war criminal and Nazi sympathiser. Makes sense. Didn’t expect the WW2 angle, but him being immortal explains a lot. We all have his commanding officer to blame for this.

Mizuki and Ai could have been normal people, without having to be under Makoto’s influence and Hazakura. Hazakura would never replicate the original form of Yozakura, it will always be just a copy.

It was weird to see that Makoto had the same Blooming as Yozakura Family members. Maybe he discovered a new formula.

I started getting the feels in the Mizuki scene. Al until the man died by becoming a fart cloud. SilverLinked you could make it look like anything else but way this.

P.S.
Is Kawashita the great grandfather (the one the 5th to 7th head shared blood with) or did he use Rei's heart? He was thinking of A Yozakura member and her/his ring.

@Marinate1016 He isn't a Nazi sympathizer. He just straight up worked in the government of their close ally. So more of a nazi himself.

Kawashita was born the year World War 1 started. He has been alive for BOTH WW's.

Wow what a backstory for Mizuki and Ai.
It really made me feel bad for them.

Damn didn't expect Kawashita was born in 1914?
He got Yozakura Blooming?
WTF is going on here.

For a shounen, the backstories, and this arc in general for some reason has been really dark, and I'm digging it ngl.
