| Fuck yea!!! A festival. Total unpredictable and never done before. Why does this have such a high score again? And who doesn't love 10 minute long expositions. Peak writing right there. |
BEST EPISODE YET! I hope Will will destroy this event. Also, Julius is super sick with his ice magic. Hopefully, they have an insane bout at the end. BUT SION STEPPING IN WAS CRAZY AURA!   |

| Damn Sion, you could have been badass, taken out Julius, and won the event as a team. However, instead, you be like screw the event a friendly fire?! I'm guessing at least 1 of the 4 factions will like his actions, though in my eyes, Julius and Sion are both trash that refuse to work with team. In Sion's defense at least, he's seemed to be the 3rd wheel. Those 2 have some nice synergy, dude really showed what he was going for with that punch in the exam. I guess lax sensei didn't want him to get attention, as that is what he seems to fear would have happened with these reactions. Meanie sensei is definitely triggered LOL. So do students pick what events they are in? You don't have to be in all of them? That's nice. This apparently is the biggest one of festival. |

| Seems like Julius is not only skilled in ice attacks, but also plot armor defense. Zero explanation on how he effortlessly escaped the fire blast without breaking a sweat or how he made it to the forest before them to set up an ambush at a walking pace, when Will's team was consistently in place on the map, as they were tracked by the golden snitches blue flying ball cameras. At least show him skating on ice or something that makes sense. This series had potential at first. But the high production value is wasted on the incredibly trashy writing and dialogue of this Harry Potter fanfic. Mr. Inferiority Complex's firey outburst made me visibly cringe. None of the characters have any good writing after getting to know them through the halfway point, except for maybe Will, and the cat. Everyone else just feels like 2-dimensional cardboard cutouts of stereotypical character archetypes and tropes. Cool action shots though. |

| Man, credit to the episode for just getting right into it. I figured they'd stretch this out over a few episodes until Will met up with Julius but they didn't waste any time getting there. Will powering his way through all the obstacles and traps was sufficiently awesome and paired well with the color commentator & Snape providing some actually decent comic relief. The only thing better than Will taking on Ice Draco would be him also fighting Fire Draco at the same time, assuming that's what happens. Could be a free for all, Julius could try to take 'em both out, I'm kind of excited to see how Will gets out of this one. I don't actually mind that Fire Draco stabbed Will in the back, it's sort of refreshing to have a character unable to get over his prejudice right away instead of just becoming the main character's bosom buddy as soon as he's saved. Colette and Will completely misread him and brought this on themselves by manipulating him to join their team and then Will hot dogging so much. Not what Will intended, sure, but I think Fire Draco's actions fit his character and personal motivations just fine. |

@fullmetalgarbage or you could say he's a peculiar character and he's making this generic series that is basically a new version of Black Clover and Mashle with a shojo artstyle more interesting??
| @TheRealRouges No. He's not peculiar. He hasn't done a single thing that was unexpected from the tropey way he is written. I don't get the shoujo art comment either. It looks more like Bleach than any shoujo I've seen. |
| A much better episode than last time around. For starters, it was an episode with a lot of fight scenes with actually good animation, so that was amazing, and we finally see Will proving his colleagues that he is indeed stronger than them, even though he can't use magic. The beginning did a good job presenting the festival, and showing that the Tower sent people searching for gems, and that they are looking out for Will. It was also a surprise Colette asked Sion to be part of her team with Will, of all the people she could have asked for, but since they needed 21000 credits to participate, it makes sense, since Will has really low credits. Anyway, the fighting scenes were good, and Will was not annoying like he was in the last episode. On the other hand, Sion is becoming insufferable to, and I can't just forget how his character is basically the same as Julius, but he controls fire instead of ice. Also, how did Julius end up so in the front? Sion attacking Will was unexpected. I was expecting him to beat Julius, but apparentaly he just wants to attack the person that saved his life back in episode 1, which just shows how annoying Sion is. By the opening, it does seem he'll end up with Will and Colette, but how can we forget everything that he has been doing so far to Will? They are literally winning the contest because of Will, but Sion's fragile ego can't hanfle that so he just decides to try to win him and show he's better than him. I wonder how the situation between Julius and Will will end up now, since WIll won't be able to fight one and then the other one. Also, it doesn't seem like Will will win this tournament, but the Tower seekers have probably an eye on him. I just found really unrealistic the things that the student that was presenting the festival said about the teacher that was literally on his side, he has classes to do, and it just doesn't seem real dialogue, because he was actually really graphic with the insults, it just felt weird and out of place. |

| Welp, I guess that's what happens when you let someone on your team that hates your guts more than your enemy. If Julius is smart, he'll sit back and take out the victor, but these guys are too arrogant. He's going to attack them both at some point. |

| The announcer really reminded me of Wangari from Little Witch Academia. Also the announcer plus the emo teacher reminded me of the sports festival with Present Mic and Aizawa from My Hero Academia. |
