| Well, Anna is starting to find out that being on a cheerleading team and putting together a project takes more than just talent. It always requires time management, getting the right people together, choosing the right music, themes, etc. The good news is that they have a group together all united for a common goal. Seems like this is going to be a learning experience for Anna so I'm looking forward more to her growth. |

| So far, I have liked this even more than Anima Yell. Anna giving more yuri kisses was the highlight moment again, hehe. Suzuha's exaggerated parkour skills feel a little weird, but oh well. Poor Kanata. Don't worry, girl. You can do it! |

| I was thinking at first that this anime completely sidelines the seriousness of all those reckless jumps, climbings and runnings these girls do, but then i guess that is the reason why Megumi as a character exists ... this permanent reminder what happens when you not careful enough. It's only the second episode, but i presume this will turn more into a sports drama later on ... that or we just gonna get the blonde chick that's obviously on something, and i still don't understand why is she in this. |

| Good character focused episode! Anna continues to be the best part of the show. Absolutely steals every scene she’s in and I love how her entrance theme is a whistle since she’s named after so many footballers lmao, they add a lil samba rhythm in there as well. Love how she drop kicked the creepy dude using Suzuha’s parkour for views. How you gonna be mad that she don’t wanna parkour today when you’re using her for clout without her permission 💀 I feel really bad for Kanata, Hana didn’t have to be so nasty to her about the tryouts and Hawks not needing her.. that plus the trauma she’s dealing with have created a mental block of sorts preventing her from doing her best. This is a real thing too, if you recall a few years ago Simone Biles had to take a mental health break because as the girl said today, this can be a fatal sport and if you’re not in the right headspace it can be catastrophic. Getting some serious Yuri vibes from Shion’s stalker Suzuha, lol like why was she camping out in the damn tree? At least ask to come inside 💀 Speaking of Shion, her friends so real for not laughing during her song because I would not have been able to hold it in Good episode that showed us some more of what makes Shion and Kanata tick, can’t wait for the next one. I love the art style so much here. |

| Another mediocre episode that does nothing to stand out from the many, many other shows like this that exist. A comfortable drop in a season where I've got plenty of good stuff to watch, mediocrity like this isn't worth wasting time on. |

Issues with Shion and Kanata, ok let's see where this goes. Again this show seems to like portray parallel issues side by side, I like it too. It is obviously trying to balance out a cast and I say it is doing quite well.

| So Kanata's PTSD has nothing or little to do with Megumi's illness. There are two different timelines involved here. First is Megumi's accident in middle school. Her school still won without her as seen in the trophy photo. Second is Kanata's mistake of falling onto another teammate leading them to lose the tourney during her first year of high school. Megumi is now rehabilitating while attending a "high school" near her home. She's aiming to transfer to Kanata's high school once she can walk. Meanwhile, Kanata is now in trauma and probably will have more drama with the girl she falls onto since she's been missing in action. The stylized color usage and lack of context really don't help viewers differentiate between the two timelines making it look like Kanata falls onto Megumi. Suzuha and Shion's relationship is kinda shallow here. Probably has some backstory/history between them. |

| I like the decision to explain the characters' backgrounds before showcasing their personalities/behaviors. This approach prevents misunderstandings or unnecessary drama and allows the story to develop at a better pace. However, there are two details that intrigue me. First, they mention that Kanata goes to the hospital, but physically she seems fine, so it's possible she is attending therapy sessions. Second, Ichigo (the coach) says she wants to continue the winning streak, but the team appears to have lost in the competition where Kanata had the incident (perhaps she only counts national competitions in the winning streak). |

| Gotta say, I liked this episode better than the 1st one. It's finally having that "P.A. Works" aura, if you know what I mean. The characters are getting much more interesting, and showing their own struggles and personality. I personally felt for Shion, because I have too felt the same about sharing my own hobbies and the "true" me. I just didn't really understand the thing between Shion and Sazuha, like, why is Sazuha so interested in Shion now, what happened? I can understand why Shion was ashamed for Sazuha hearing her song, since she really didn't want any other than the girls in that room to hear it, and those girls are her friends, not like Sazuha, that is only an acquaintance, but Sazuha barely showed interest in meeting other people, and wasn't close to Shion, so why is she interested in her now? Also, only noticed now that the whole cast are female characters, which is an interesting perspective, and I enjoy that! Overall, this episode gave us a much more detailed view of what the show is going to be about, on what happened to Kanata, and why was she afraid of trying cheerleading again. That final scene, where Kanata tried to do that exercise and was unable, making her unfit for the group was hard to see, but the coach is right about being dangerous for her to be in the group right now. But this scene made this episode much more interesting in my opinion. Looking foward for the next episodes, and I'm honestly quite surprised by the really low score in this anime, the 1st episode wasn't that great, but I feel like the artstyle and this episode show a lot of potential! Also, Anna's character is really unique, I feel like it could be one of the characters of this season. |
| Kanata being surrpised that she could fly over Obunai, it's her first achievement since the horrific incident, though Anna is the same as ever, always having content for her videos. But having Nodoka do cheerleading in an altar temple...it's quite the weird spectacle lols. Still, Nabatame still habours hatred over Kanata because she foiled their team's win, especially for the upcoming tryouts. It's surprising that Anna's connections allow her to enable the use of even house music, though Shion has other ideas using her expertise as a singer-songwriter to also have appropriate music for their dance, even if that composition does drive her off, no thanks to Obunai. The commonality of the girls who are connected to one another in many ways, it's still Kanata that I find myself being more focused to her storyline, given her PTSD and all. Was Kanata's time to fly being luck, or was it just a fluke? |
