| It's good that Kafka was accepted, maybe not as a soldier, but as a clown for the team, but something is better than nothing. Besides, Hoshina seems to have some interest in him. I like Kafka's new teammates; they're friendly with him, but they still compete to be the best. And that's something that causes conflict for me because, as the second captain said, anything can happen at any moment. |

| The comedy this episode was gold. * He sneaketh in, then says the quiet part out loud! * He admits she's his childhood friend and they all basically go "NANI!????!!?????!!!!" and proceed to grill him relentlessly That was just a great episode, lots of character development with the comedy. The second in command is going to find out about him, I swear! |

That guy knows where to hit lmao XD Not a fan of Mina's VA performance this week—uncharacteristically high-pitched when calling on Kikuru, then excessively low and forced-authoritative when reading out the oath. As a captain, this should be bread and butter for her, and there's nothing to suggest it'd be otherwise. Interesting how Hoshina (instead of Mina) speaks up for Kafka only for Kafka to compete with him for his position :P |

@MeanEYE im judging it fairly, nowadays it's hard to make a unique story without cliches, i think that the screaming for humour isnt really funny too
but im not really there for the humour, the plot is interesting, idk whats gonna happen next its not that predictible like other anime and honestly i just wanna see the mc progress

| @vankoshtorata my opinion is different. I think writers can come up with original stories but they not as easy to sell so they stick to tried and tested. Altering the formula a bit. But the formula works, many copy and paste shows all similar to each other and everyone screaming in forums how it's the best show this season™. |

Mangada görmediğimiz bu koğuş sahneleri falan şahsen daha çok hoşuma gitti ekibin normal yaşantısını az da olsa görme imkânımız oldu.Mangada bu banyodaki muhabbet kısmını haliyle daha hızlı geçmişlerdi. It was a very nice and pleasant episode. I personally liked these ward scenes, which we did not see in the manga, more. We had the opportunity to see the normal life of the team, at least a little. In the manga, they naturally went through this bathroom conversation part faster. |
| While some parts of this episode were cringey some other parts were funny such as when Kafka was boasting about reaching 1% to Shinomiya who reached 55% lol. Regarding the next episode, I'm wondering if Kafka will have to use his kaiju power especially with that villain being loose that is similar to him. |

| The sense of kinship between comrades who passed the same test and in training together is such a great feeling, specially sharing stories. Glad we got a good portrayal for it |

| Finally our boy Kafka got the approval he deserved, this is pretty much the start of his long road in becoming officer, then again... it will be very interesting seeing him controlling his powers and avoid being identified as the Kaiju number 8, surely he can keep that façade for a long time right? |

| Kafka is a really funny guy. He's a lot of fun to watch. I'm surprised that so many people know about their past relationship already. Those ominous final words along with the siren screams death flags. |

| This episode was soooo entertaining! The pace, the humour, everything was perfectcly mastered. |
| Finally we get some character development beyond Kafka, Reno, and Kikoru. This episode had a great balance of action and character interactions. That fight scene was really well done. Another good episode |
| Fun epic training montage. Glad Kafka is getting more used to being around the other members of the Defense Force and him bonding/beefing with Shinomiya is great. |

| Kafka makes the cut as a cadet under second captain Hoshino and it was interesting to see that Hoshino notices Kafka's vitals going off when kaijuu 8 showed up. He doesn't mention it but just having his suspicions might mean that he's either going to be a bad guy against Kafka or someone like Shinomiya who will kill him if he does bad. I'm with Hoshino though, Kafka breaks a lot of tension with his clumsy personality |
