| Shippo's frustration is understandable when he sees how strong his senpai are especially losing to Tomitsuka after his battle against the twins and Tomitsuka losing to Tatsuya :S |

| Was about time that Shippou got shown where his place is. The least boring episode so far. |
| Sorting algorithm of power with the battles in this episode, basically. That said, I wish the actress scene was covered more extensively, because it was heavily truncated from the LN material. Even Tatsuya and Miyuki can't fully retreat from the sociopolitical interests of the Yotsuba and Ten Master Clans. Being used as a human bargaining chip isn't all it's cracked up to be. |

| Great episode. That Tatsuya fight was cool. I'm a bit confused on why the first year students don't know how strong Tatsuya is. I thought the tournament in season 1 pretty much showed the world how strong Tatsuya is. Kasumi approached Shippou first and managed to mend things up with him. I like the conclusion to their "drama". |

| Wait wasn't Maya's main ability translated as 'Night' before? I don't remember which episode it was in the earlier seasons that Tatsuya mentioned he was a good match up for his aunt's 'Night'. But back then I don't recall hearing the English insert words of 'meteor line' during that section. Was this a mistranslation in past episodes when they used the Japanese words for meteor line? Or are these two different abilities? That aside the animation was quite on point with all of the fights. Always a joy with this series! |
