| Ahh the good old mind transfer jutsu. So we just need to find a type zero magus body for mystere/noir and they’ll both be able to come back Of course that’s not gonna be easy to do, we’ll have to head off to Amasia, home of the type zero magi to find one. I hope we’ll get some more lore about the enders and the origin of the magi and coffins etc there. Kinda messed up cause I do like Noir, but honestly I don’t mind Kanata and Ciel getting some alone time because of her absence. Really love all their scenes together and there’s always a real sense of intimacy. That pinky promise was so cute and seeing them fight together was great. But wtf is that tokio/licht reveal? So he’s part of ideal??? The twists and turns keep coming in this story. They also speak about Amasia as being ideal’s hometown so I wonder how they relate to the type zeros and histoire,. Macht and Licht have a really interesting rivalry as well it seems. Just a lot of interesting worldbuilding in this one |

| With Noir/Mystere out of commission, Kanata, with Ciel, catches a coincidence with Alba and Ada, whom he tries to request their help to discern the problem. And to properly dissect the other Magus, it requires yet another Type Zero Magus body...which they need to travel to Amasia for that. And since that place hasn't been frequented a lot, everyone is going there, including Weisheit, Tokio/Licht Alter and Macht. Clearly, both Tokio and Mouton are back in Weisheit's ground, which surprises both Macht and Schnee. The feud long-standing between Macht and Licht, it still stands within reason, though for the sake of Ideal, they must put their differences aside. As for Kanata and Ciel going to the underground city of Amasia to find any Type Zero vessel they can use at the Magus Production Block, which catches the attention of Ideal. And in the pursuit of catching Kanata, Tokio becomes part of the ruse, and he becomes the center of litigation being double-sided from spies left and right. Is there any way to save Noir/Mystere, or if, at all? |

| Ciel finally backstabs, disappointed in her. Idk why does Tokio need to be on their side as well? What does he want? Anyway Alba better come to the rescue. I need to see Macht and their ass kicked to be satisfied. |

| Kanata's blind action towards "I need to save both of them" is becoming more and more of an issue; now it's gotten him in the literal middle of enemy territory by himself(kinda). |
| This writing is horrible lol. Ciel is very clearly set up as a double agent working for ideal and her betrayal was clearly imminent, and upon executing this betrayal, she says the most corny, cartoon villain line ever. Pretty much the equivalent of her going "wahaha kanata I was working for the bad guys along" |

| The betrayals are getting kind of boring now, not least because Kanata is so easily deceived all the time. I think I actually preferred this show when it was just chilling and not trying to have much plot going on, because this plot is pretty badly written. |

| Kanata is just implicitly trusting of acquaintances. It isn't any more "badly written" than people like this who are just as gullible in reality, unless you think God himself fucked up somewhere. As far as he's aware, neither Tokio or Ciel have given him any reason to doubt them, let alone actively combat them, so it's understandable that he fell for Ciel's spying. What matters now is he reacts to this revelation. That said, I do wish Kanata put up more of a fight in his mecha. He jobs in every single battle without much effort on the enemies part, and now that Tokio is playing what I imagine is the long-game as a double or triple agent, Kanata can't count on him to bail him out either. Shows you how desperate Kanata is to save Noir, that he was willing to rush into an Ideal-occupied Amasia while being hopelessly outmatched in his hilariously weak coffin mech. |
