Kanata has practically exposed the biggest plot of the series so far: the existence of Histoire through Ideal, even though Ciel is with him as a spy, and Tokio a.k.a Licht has run back to Ideal with a plan to shake the mysterious group up. But between Noir and Mystere, both entities cannot exist alongside one another, which Noir will revert to Mystere when the self-repair sequence finishes in 2 days. Till then, Noir still wants to prove her usefulness to Kanata, which after seeing Ciel cook up a meal, she wants to attempt the same, which she comes to Ellie for help, and Ange decides to help both instead.

The problem is: Noir's allowance is meagre, but with the exception of helping Michael sell bell peppers to everyone, he answers to the maiden's call. Noir's basically part of Rock Town with her liking for mock cotton candy, and the people who recognized her efforts alongside Kanata. Noir may be very engrossed about the 3 Laws of Magi, but honestly, there's nothing to worry about. With the ingredients, they're able to whip up a meal, and Noir's camera to cature significant moments, it's for remembrance. Of course, Kanata would get all worried about Noir, but she did a decent job to make him happy, at least for once, before she completely reverts to Mystere. This was kept a secret to Kanata and Ciel until the final moments, and her camera's pictures aren't the only thing making her disappearance apparent.

Will Noir be erased from existence completely...or is there a slinger of hope to retain part of her?

Hope Noir can come back somehow. Maybe the final "reparied form" is a third personality?

The episode was fine.. the existential crisis and conflict between Noir and Mystere and the end, quite predictable, but still fine to go through.. I hope both Noir and Mystere get to stay..

“I trust cold even without a contract” does he know? Lmao

Ciel’s got everyone eating good now that her music is doing so well. What a feast she prepared for everyone. Like Kanata said, no better way to eat a great meal than with great company. But you could see Kanata’s happiness actually made Noir feel a little insecure because she’s not sure if she’s bringing him joy and making him stronger.

With all the toxic stuff Mystere is putting into her head on the daily basis you can’t really blame her and Kanata has been in a lot of conflict now because of people coming after Noir. But of course we all know Kanata is extremely happy to have her around. With or without her cooking meals or doing anything extra. Just her presence is a massive boost to him.

Still sweet that she went out and bought real groceries for a proper home cooked meal for Kanata. Crazy how broke she is lmao. Everyone damn near passed out seeing how little money she had haha. Shoutout to Ellie and Ange for helping her prepare for the meal though and it all went well.. until the end

No way Noir is gone fr, but we definitely saw her step into her own and stand up for herself in this episode. Mystere has been bullying her pretty consistently since she appeared. She doesn’t want to leave Kanata or her friends behind and seeing Noir cry was really hard 😢 I think the most likely solution is the two will merge personalities with full memories of both lives..

Well that was sad. I'm about 99% sure Noir will return somehow, but still.

Poor Noir, looks like she won't disappear though, maybe a merger?

Even tho I much prefer Mystere and her interactions with Kanata, it was still a touching episode that brought out a bit of feels.

Well the last two episodes have finally felt like they moved the story in some sort of direction. I’m happy it’s finally starting to feel like halfway decent series vs just being average.

Noir is like the local mascot, everyone loves her. Hope they find a way for both Noir and Mystere to coexist.

Really, what Kanata should have said - because it's very obviously how he feels - is that he doesn't want Mystere, he wants Noir. That's been plain to see from Mystere's first moments of screentime and, given Mystere's awful attitude to Kanata all the time, it's hard to see that ever changing.

This episode may as well be a guidebook in doing character development right. So many different sides to Noir revealed and expanded upon in this episode, even in scenes that were outwardly chill and humorous. From her initial motive of being useful to Kanata and Rock Town, Noir came to realise subconsciously that she enjoyed the connections she had with her friends, beyond just being a useful "tool"; thus, when the gravitas of her erasure with Mystere's repair sequence hit, she began to fear for the loss of her being at the last moment, despite previously coming to terms with it.

Noir's inherent drive to be useful to her master, low-self esteem, attachment to her sense of self, and subtle appreciation for company all clashed to the point where Mystere's self-repair sequence was actually interrupted in the process, leaving both Mystere and Noir seemingly comatose in the same body. Interested in seeing what happens to both of their personalities after this error.

Also, Noir's coat just doesn't seem to fit her. It kept slipping off her shoulders throughout the episode, lol. No wonder Mystere just deflates it right off the bat.
