| Studio PuYUKAI's director Minoru Ashina heads Hokkaido mangaka Forbidden Shibukawa's largely underground/unknown work of Snack Basue as the short-form studio's first full traditional half-hour anime. The lively OP is decent, though Rie Takahashi as Akemi singing the premiere episode's old classic song, it's a sweet touch. In this snack bar that's regulated by its hostess Mama Basue and junior hostess Akemi, the ladies serving customers like its regular patron Tatsu and its newest customer Yamada who's helping his company look for a place of recreation. But giving into peer pressure of his circumstances that the trio wants to hear from him...they had to do it in a Famitsu review way lols, because why not. Sharing problems within the group, and each to their own. Yamada is back with Akemi, and discussing what condiments go their fried eggs...though it's just condimental argument. Another patron of Morita, Akemi wants inspiration for her stories, though showing them a time stopping app, both ladies just freezed out of whack. But he's ust the typical perverted "boy" who has garbage after garbage tool, like toxic drugs to sneak into female baths, all dor the sake of erotica. But Morita getting depressed, and Akemi wants him to sing his heart out, though he wants Akemi to sing for her, a corny song thinking about her ex. It's a largely chill series made up of short stories between characters, a rather weird but decent watch. |

| I was surprised with the duration of this episode. I was expecting a short series. Production values for this one are somehow worse than the first South Park season, but besides that, it seems like a genuinely fun and authentic series. You just know it perfectly captures the mood and warmth of these kind of place even if you've never been into one. I won't watch it personally but I would advise people to do so. (in b4 everybody saying the same and nobody will watch it) What's happening this season anyway? The amount of series aimed at an older audience is astonishing. |
| I'm also surprised by the fact that it's a full-length series but there were a few funny gags, so I'll be sticking around for now! A lot of the humor seems to not translate very well, but the stuff that does is fun. |

| This was boring for the most part. Felt like comedians trying to come up with a funny sketch, with how they were desperatly trying to find a conversation topic. But there were some - uhm - hints(?) at funny jokes? Maybe the show can get better if they introduce some better customers. Or put more people into the bar. But to be honest, I don't have much hope for this one. |

| I kind ıf agree with that this Anime more for Japanese people but pretty understandable for rest of the world to.The first part was ok but the second part was not for me. Listening about man being a piece of trash who only talk about sexual assault and even worse without any punch line or joke not my thing |
