| It's finally out after waiting like 4 months since U149 finished and we found out Yukimi and Kozue would appear in this OVA π Yukimi episode spoiler ahead: Kozue episode spoiler ahead: I think from these OVAs we got exactly what we were anticipating from the preview, 2 back-to-back mini episodes centering around Yukimi and Kozue showcasing their character as well as showcasing a longer version of their new solo songs as previewed in the PV too from before No announcements made on this OVA (as far as I'm aware) but was really nice seeing them all again after these 4 months since U149 main anime finished I just hope we can get some good news in the future regarding a new season or even After20 or Wild Wind Girl anime adaptation!!!!! Here's hoping! (Will update this message if they do release the ED songs on the official iM@S YouTube channel) |

| I finally watched it! I had a good time with it, I wished it had more of Sajo though. She's very cute. I didn't really care that much for Kozue. Was really hoping to see Fukuyama voiced. The episode was still very cute overall, and that's what matters the most. |

| I didn’t even know this OVA existed until the other day, so I figured while seasonals are still waiting to come out I should check it out since I really enjoyed the main anime, and while it wasn’t anything crazy it was pretty cute and featured some new idols that we didn’t have in the main show, although it did feel odd that they were just part of the group with no introduction lol. The first half featuring Yukimi was pretty good, I liked the haunted mansion theming and it seemed like they were going for a Resident Evil style shoot with the zombies, and seeing the girls as zombies in this half’s ED reminded me of Zombieland Saga lol. We didn’t really get a whole lot on Yukimi tho, pretty much just a showing of her personality and how she interacts with the others girls, which is fine but I expected a little more. Her ED was good tho, I’m glad these two girls featured in this OVA got their own songs so at least there was something idol-related in it. And the 2nd half with Kozue was kinda wild actually with the whole alien thing, although I wonder if that was all just a dream she had since at the end it showed the seed she planted as a regular plant, that was an interesting fever dream I’ll say tho lol. And of course Kozue is very cute, she doesn’t seem completely there but that could be because she’s secretly stoned at all times, she did mention “Let It Grow” which is a Grateful Dead song after all lol, I’m choosing this as my headcanon. And her song was nice as well, I liked the visuals for the ED with all the girls on a giant beanstalk. And now I hope for another season of U149, I think these new girls could shake things up, including the ones in the backgrounds with no lines in this episode, but perhaps in the future I’ll check out other Idolmaster entries as I still haven’t as of rn lol. |
