Japanese rock band BUMP OF CHICKEN (Spy x Family Part 2) is performing the opening theme "Sleep Walking Orchestra.", which is previewed in the promotional video below.

I'm so excited and happy!!! I only started reading the manga in June of this year, but this looks so good!!
Dungeon Meshi is literally a master class of its own. And it looks like we'll get a full adaptation.

Two cours is always a win.

@deg Is there a side plot or a bigger plot that develops as it goes along? I read the first volume or so and it was fun, but did not have any sort of...goal that I could see to keep me engaged.

I look forward to checking this anime out, the animation looks great, and the art style is so unique. I read a little bit of the manga, and really like the quirky characters, especially 'not having any of this' Marcille. I think the anime will keep my attention a bit better in this instance, some stuff I enjoy manga as much as anime, but sometimes I enjoy one more than the other.

Yeah nope, it's a monthly manga with 30+ pages per chapter and a lot of content in most chapters. So unless they rush it a lot I don't think that's happening.

@Memore I'm curious, what makes you guys think so? There was nothing saying they'll completely adapt it unless you guys are assuming they'll do it in just two cours.

@lanlenore There's a lot going on. Things get much more interesting as the story progresses and you get to see the bigger picture. It's a fantastic manga.

@MegamiRem, 97 chapters total, 4 chapter per one episode, it is real. At least I think so.

@Memore You didn't get my point lol. 4 chapters per episode can happen when the chapters have very little content which is usually the case for many battle shounens where action is the main focus and many chapters are filled with just action spreads which when animated equals to few minutes of an episode.

@MegamiRem I will have to consider giving it another look, though for now may just wait for the anime and get my impressions from there.
