| This is by far the best romance anime I have ever watched, or maybe the best anime I ever watched period. I feel I am crazy for saying this but there is a feeling that is tell me this is the best, I don't know why. I have the sad and sour feeling of this show ending because I know that I will never see this show continue again. | @Pratyay_D_Biswas I dont really like Komi, I like Kaguya but Horimiya is better. I think why I like Horimiya this much is because its actually a romance anime, not two people spend like 100 episode trying to be together, Its a true romance because its a story about them together. |

I also really like Horimiya, I enjoy a lot that wholesome aspect this anime has. I still prefer Kaguya-sama Love is War but Horimiya is pretty good in general

yes its the best...people in react how they should...plus the comedy is perfect..most romance anime become annoying...this one ages perfectly

I don't think the ending is bad, and I thought the Horimiya ending in the manga and anime was kinda worse. I get your point that you'd prefer an anime about the relationship of a couple after the confession and not an anime that shows the journey of the characters until the confession happens, but Kaguya and Shirogane have a lot of chapters together as a couple, about half of the entire manga. I prefer Kaguya-sama because not only it's one of the funniest anime I've ever watched, but I love the entire cast of it, also it has some really good dramatic moments focusing on the depht of the characters, exploring their weaknesses and flaws. |

| This is good. I consider it as a bridge between the romance dramas and romance comedies. It has undoubtedly a good balance between them. Horimiya was my favourite until I discovered Oregairu which is by far my favourite non-shoujo romance. |

| I dropped it in 4th episode, don't really find it that interesting, dislike the main character and those 4 episodes were cringiest episode I've seen in all of the romance anime that I've watched. I watched this anime before I even created my mal account, so I might give it a another try if I feel like, but thats what my first impression of horimia. |

Exactly ..plus the different interactions with friends...no overacting...
Most anime show two people getting together...only some are good like kaguya sama...others are annying like this season( girl i like forgot glasses and dreamy realist)
Hormiya is the only anime i have watched that has ADULTS ACTING LIKE ADULTS.....my love story with yamada at lvl 999 last season was probably the next anime that comes close to it...

I don't think the ending is bad, and I thought the Horimiya ending in the manga and anime was kinda worse. | @MKIkawa The best part of kaguya is the start and peak at them getting together, after they get together it is really mid. The ending just came out of nowhere, and feels hell of rushed. I love kaguya and Kaguya is really really funny, but just pure romance Horimiya is better. |

Does people know there was a romcom called Golden Times? The romance was great in there. Don’t get me wrong I like Horimiya and I love Kaguya-sama, but Golden Times is probably the best romcom in my heart.

I mean it would take a while to list all the romance anime and manga I think are better so I’ll just say what I dislike about horimiya:
- glorifying toxic relationship traits e.g possessiveness/pettyness, high levels of impulsiveness, and harassment (miyamura hitting hori, even if it consensual the show still acts like it’s an ok thing to do to your partner(which it’s not)).
-All the characters in the series act like they are under 13 years of age when most of them are meant to be highschoolers (15-18)
- 90% of the scenarios in the anime come from some sort of lack of understanding/ unwillingness to understand which is just gets tedious after awhile, also again just showing traits of 12-13 year old which they are just not.
- and of course the biggest complaint this show gets which is its rushed pacing and missing content which is is the reason this season it happening in the first place.
Of course it not all bad. The comedy while not the best I’ve ever seen it does have there moments of genius. And I like the green haired guy. He’s fun.

Also huge fate fan too, respect |

The first half is ok. The second half has atrocious pacing and focuses on side characters where they each get one episode and then get forgotten about. This second season can hardly even be considered a romance anymore, and is just a not very good comedy with romance elements.

| @GoshaX Well, i prefer watching where the romance is natural and not there just for the sake of story, something like ReLife(manga) and Spice and Wolf where the two main leads actually need each other. Horimia felt like im watching some kdrama in anime(i hate them), but again im only judging from what i’ve seen that is upto 4 episodes so idk how the story progresses further. |
