| Yea sadly I am very sure that Lailaps isn’t gonna make it at this point. Too many red flags. What’ll likely happen is she and Yohane resolve their issues, they apologise and find peace and Lailaps disappears so Yohane can continue to grow on her own. Just seems like a classic case of characters getting into a misunderstanding, then realising how stupid the misunderstanding was and trying to come back together only for one to end up dying. I think the show has been steering us in that direction for a while now The girls throwing the party to cheer up Yohane was so sweet. It’s understandable that she wasn’t in the mood for it, though. When it’s all said and done I think they’ll end up taking over Lailaps role and keeping Yohane company which is what her mother wanted. | I'm hoping that title of the next chapter is just a bait to make us think that lailaps is not going to make it, but with a chapter still left I believe that she will live. |
| The first half of this episode was an upsetting one, Chika and her sisters ended up dealing with the deer like I thought they would but they weren’t prepared for Yohane’s incoming depression lol, and honestly I’m not sure why she felt she bared that much responsibility for the calamity, only thing I can think of is that it was a celebration of her that everyone was gathered in one place, I know there’s also the fact she hates that she has nothing special about herself but idk, she definitely took on too much here. But thankfully Yohane has some awesome friends, their little show was quite hilarious for reasons they didn’t intend but I’d be cheered up immediately if I was in the dumps while watching that lol, it didn’t work on Yohane immediately but I was happy to see Chika being more relevant in helping Yohane here, she’s been mostly in the background up to this point and I’ve been waiting for her to shine, and now that Yohane has her mojo back once again it’s time to save Lailaps, next episode’s title doesn’t sound like a good time sadly tho lol. |
| sad ending, previews seem to gaslight even worse. It was nice for the girls to arrange a party for a friend in difficulty, but obviously she wasn't in the mood and their attempts were, oh... well... cringey. |

| I think those party tricks might be the hardest this has made me laugh since Aqour's antics in the original series. Sunshine in the Mirror remains such an enchanting combination of lightheartedness & warmth. I like how that theme of radiance ties back into the girls' bond with Yohane. |
