Way, way too chaotic, just effing throwing all those girls and their drama at the reader and expecting them to immediately keep up and care. I still have no idea which of those girls was in love with which, or what that galaxy brained plan to not have to confess by... um... antagonizing someone else? I guess?... was all about, or even whose plan it actually was (it looked like it was that dark haired girl's plan, but then that one other girl said that she doesn't trust that blonde girl because of that? for some reason? so maybe it wasn't that dark haired one who plotted it?), or why at the end that another girl suddenly said that she's gonna stay with the blonde...
And if that paragraph above seems chaotic and confusing, that just means that I managed to replicate the one shot's narrative well lmao
Good things? Art is pretty. Enjoyed the softness and individuality the paneling had. Classic summer festival setting and enough drama in 27 pages to fit into what should’ve been a whole volume, for sure. Bad things? Did any of the girls have names that are said allowed? Because I’m pretty sure all I remember is them crying and being mad at each other. There’s four (I think) and it looks like each one likes a different girl? It’s hard to follow. The creepy smile panel at the end was cool, sure, but if I can’t understand the manipulation happening it kind of takes the creepy part of a oneshot away. Blonde girl was my favorite; can’t remember what she did other than get rejected.
I accidentally clicked on a different oneshot with the same title and read that one, too. Not GL-centric if you were curious.
I was expecting a bit more when I suggested this oneshot- this one was quite disappointing. I wish they had set the scene better by explaining beforehand each girl's backstory or the author had done a better job showing the backstory because it was hard to "pick sides" and relate to any of the girls.
Rated 4/10 - this oneshot would have been better as a manga with 2-4 volumes

this one was so good! I don't normally read GL but A Love Letter for the Marching Puppy did not disappoint from the cute story to the cute budding relationship between Kagami and Indou to the cuter art. Kagami's mother did get a little creepy despite that, I did understand her reasoning behind her protectiveness of Indou although I don't agree with it being a good reason to be such an awful person (especially to Kagami)
Also I'm relieved there wasn't the whole "we're both girls so we shouldn't have these feelings" I feel like stories without that element feel so much more natural and easy to enjoy.
Rated 8/10
@CsillaLoli Very interesting reading your thoughts as someone who doesn't really read GL. You can now go ahead and make one more suggestion for both the One-Shot and Series on the Suggestion board whenever you feel like it.

It was quite awful. XD It reminded me why I dont read GL.
Gave it a 5, because I am a high-scorer and i was greatful it only had 1 chapter.
It was a total mess. I couldnt even understand whats happening. The teenagers' overdramatic emotions were quite annoying, they literally didnt make any sense. Really who dates who, who cheats whom with who? XD
Koushin Koinu ni Koibumi wo - 7/10
I rated it 7 because I rate high, but it was definitely not good.
The mother was a pathetic annoying b*tch, I wanted to slap her every time she appeared. You know what? She should have just die...
The art was good, but the story was just so-so... I dare someone to count how many times they said the word 'maiden'... It got awfully annoying to read it, maiden this, maiden that... meanwhile everyone have children... mehh, the story didnt really made sense in many way.
And I didnt like any of the main characters' personality... :|
I decided to take part in this corner because I haven't read any GL manga and in general, I am not a fan of any GL anime I watched, (although I like shipping girl x girl couples in non-GL series), but I'm sure there'll be a manga that can win my heart, so here I am!

Very nice story and the characters are also adorable, I also liked the drawings and the setting a lot, but I had some problems with the Kagamis.
First of all, I found the relationship between the two protagonists a bit unbalanced at first, with Kagami seeming more in love with Shinobu's face than with her person which I think is intentional, given the ending, but it made it difficult for me to read the first three volumes. Fortunately, she did get better!
But her mother... I really can't describe how much I find her creepy. She's an awful person and an even worse mother and everything was practically just dismissed. She tried to groom Shinobu, it was really lucky for her to meet Fujino. She made me feel sick...
But what I'll remember about this manga is Shinobu. She is adorable and always makes me so happy! She's such a good and kind girl that her pretty face should fade in the background.
Overall: 7.5/10
Truth
Ok, let's see if I understand: we have long hair, ponytails, blond and curly. Long hair and ponytails are bff, but long hair is in love with ponytails while she is in love with blond who is dating curly. Long hair decides to seduce blond and then tells ponytails that they are dating. They even went on a date, so it seems blond is cheating on her gf.
So, they meet at the summer festival and drama ensues. Curly is disgusted by the cheating so she dumps blond, while long hair explains her terrible plan, which never had any sense from the beginning, while saying that she really loves ponytails which doesn't seem like an idiot, and noticed her hypocrisy. So in the end ponytail is the real winner because she can console blond and maybe it was all part of her keikaku!
I re-read it two times to understand, and this is the best I could do...
Overall this is... I don't know, a 3/10 because I had to re-read to understand the drama! If it'd be an entire volume it'd be so bad that is good, but as it is, it's only bad.
@hinagatari it was neat reading your thoughts and am glad I'm not the only one who was confused by Truth. You can now go ahead and make one more suggestion for both the One-Shot and Series on the Suggestion board whenever you feel like it.

Welp... this SUCKED. Like, seriously, it felt like the conversation kept jumping around, making it impossible to follow. Most of the time I was trying to figure out who was talking, and the hair kept changing colors which was weird (like, how many characters are there? 3? 4? Am still unsure). This is NOT how you do GL nor melodrama. 2/10

Ok, y'all hating on this one-shot, but i thought it was good. The beginning half of the story in the cover was a cool idea. It shouldve kept up with that, wouldve been a nice play on the title of Sound of Silence. The story thos is interesting for sure, a girl two-times on her friends and ends up being punished in a way. That doesnt happen alot. I wanted more for sure, wouldve been cool to see how she copes with losing two people that she trusted. Also was that fourth girl hitting on her at the end and twisting her feelings ? I could see this being a cool like 2 volume story about betrayal and friendship and ovecoming grief.
Ah yes, toxicity at its finest. Thanks I hated it. I literally didn't even know what had happened by the time I reached the end of this. The only good thing about it is that it's short. 1/10
Koushin Koinu ni Koibumi wo:
This was a really sweet wholesome story. I really like military settings so that was definitely a plus. Although the main story between Indou and Kagami was sweet, I also really enjoyed the Aisen side story. My only complaint is that I do wish Hasabe got some more time in the spotlight with Ooba as well. 7/10
Definitely would have needed more exposition. It feeled like beginning to read a manga from a random page on, instead the beginning.
Besides this it also wasn't that engaging.
To tell you the Truth (badum tss), I don't even know what did I just read. The scene composition and/or dialogue positioning makes it hard to see who is talking at times and to who. Seeing that it's a oneshot, I had low hopes for it, but damn I think it's the worst oneshot that I've read as of the time I'm writing this. Not only both the presentation and story is confusing (as there is, as you may expect, 0 explanations as to what's going on), but the overall 'GL' can be narrowed down to drama, drama and drama.
2/10. The art is the only good point, and the fact that it's short ig.
This was interesting, it would be a very good longer series with a full volumes, if it changed its temperment. But i really dont like the how much she called her a 'bitch'. Also very little GL imo
I also thought it was really tiring and bothersome she kept referring to the rin as a bitch the entire time. The only time she used her actual name, rin was so happy about it, showing it is not that she actually liked to be called as bitch for her nickname and would prefer her actual name.. poor rin v_v I did not feel much actual GL here. Caring, yes. But also kind of seemed more GL bait than GL to me. I could also be biased because it would be hecka toxic relationship if it was there.. I am glad it was a one shot because I would not sit through more than this bit of it because that is just SO disrespectful!
Confusing. I liked the drama but not how it was written.

I really enjoyed this manga. I loved the relationship between the main characters and liked the military theme and jokes. Kagami's mom was so annoying but I like how the problem was solved without changing her completly, which wouldn't have made any sense. In spite of the fact that Indou looks almost like a kid, I end up loving the plot, the romance and the characters.
Rating: 8/10
Damdam!!
It did not felt like I was reading a GL at all. I didn't like the toxic relationship and how the male character felt unnecessary. I liked the art and sometimes the action as well.
Well well, I was actually curious on checking out this one since the Mudae pictures were cute, and now I've been given some motivation to start it. Thank you!
First things first, I want to point out that I loved this. It was cute and not a "yuri-bait". The story takes place in an old setting rather than a modern one, and while it's an school manga, it manages to keep it unique by making the plot develop on a military academy.
Starting with the positive points, I liked that MC "development" where she just learns about almost everything. Coming from a poor family (due to certain reasons), she's obviously more simple-minded than the rest of the cast. Another thing that I liked is that, despite the plot not having an actual on-going war, the main triangle between Indou, Kagami and Kagami's mother is linked by a past war.
Now, onto the negative parts. The supporting cast, they barely have any weight at all. If you remove them and keep just the main triangle stated above, it won't change the story that much. There are like 2 (3 if you count Natalia) pairings that barely have any development, which seems like a disappointment. Some kind of spin-off would be nice, but at this point I doubt this would be possible. Another negative thing is the huge drama from chapter 18? onwards, which to be honest, while it does have an impact on the story, I couldn't end up liking it.
Final score: 8/10
Sweet short manga, but sadly wanted to see more for the rest of the cast.
This wasn't a GL, just a yuri-bait manga. And I'm thankful for that because in this way I can simply forget about the abusive relationship.
The story was unoriginal but I like the genre, so I found it interesting, but the characters were walking stereotypes or just plain awful.
However I liked the art and the girls had a good design, even the backgrounds were nicely drawn.
Was somewhat cute and had many likeable
characters, although I would have prefered if it had
a bit more depth. I also somehow expected a lot more
references to dogs, but there were only a few.
Well aside from the "bitch this" and "bitch that" annoyance, I'll mostly echo other people's thoughts here and say I honestly forgot this was supposed to be GL. Decent enough story but very forgettable though. Probably won't remember it next week.
