Touko Machida (Saikyou Onmyouji no Isekai Tenseiki) is handling the series composition. Yuuko Watabe (Glass no Kantai) and Yuuko Ooba (Akuyaku Reijou nanode Last Boss wo Kattemimashita) are the main character designers. Technoboys Pulcraft Green-Fund (Trinity Seven) is composing the music. The anime adapts Howahowa Shiina's action fantasy novel, which began on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in January 2013 before moving to AlphaPolis' website in August 2016. AlphaPolis acquired the novel and published the first volume in February 2014, featuring illustrations by Yamaada. The 27th volume was released on March 1.
