THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.
----------------------------------------
Got some weird feelings about this episode. Honestly, with the Nemesis threat going on, it felt like this was coming sooner or later.

Dart is so chill lol. Also need more Grimm in this show for sure. He has this aura of mysteriousness that's hard to take eyes off of.

Regarding the episode now, I think that was a ok-ish episode, Lerche seriously don't give a fuck about investing themselves with the animation, they re-used multiple scenes, I think there was less than 100 different drawings in this episode... to get something to compare it to, first episode of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Part 3 was 12 000 drawings... <__<

To be honest that whole thing had me rolling my eyes as well because I've heard this damn argument so many times before and it's just as stupid as the previous one. Yes, minorities do have it rough but it should be noted that every single individual has a personal responsibility for themselves. If others don't think highly of you, prove them otherwise and do it in both a reasonable and respectable manner, not by pointing fingers and shouting a bunch of hate speech. Don't like the way your life is? Then change it, but do it peacefully and not through violence. If you want people to respect you you need to show that same kind of respect to them.

"I don't care how justified you think your reasons are. I won't tolerate liars or thieves."
"If you're not going to be nice to me, don't expect me to be nice to you."
"I'm a soldier, not a superhero. Don't ever think of me as one."
"The world doesn't revolve around you. Get that through your thick skull."
"People who live by their emotions go nowhere in their lives. They only find misery.
"If you don't like the way your life is than do something about it instead of sitting there feeling sorry for yourself."
"You want something go get it. Period."

I have not a single idea of what you're talking about ...

In which way is the plot about IRL politics ? It's just a fiction inspired by some real society problems we have in France, looking further is far-fetched...

Dragunov and Konrad sure make good comedy duo, I was really amused by their scene.

I still don't get Grimm's plan, and who the hell is that white hair pied piper girl? This nemesis hunting job has sure got bigger for Seth and Melie.

I'm really looking forward to the next episode.

Nice episode. Dragunov, and Konrad's bickering was funny, getting to know about "source" and "echo" nemesis was nice, and I liked to see Mélie using some versatile magic. I knew that it was too good to be true when those other nemesis started falling on their trap like that though. lol

Not sure if you ever faced racism in real life but a racist won't change his opinion of you because you politely tell him to. And yes racism was shown in a extrem way so you may roll your eyes but it's not like it's unrealistic to happen like that.

For ever faced racism and the real life and somewhere else (the french twitter ^^' ...) i can tell you that the racism in this show isn't this extreme ... Just go in the Nord Pas de Calais in France for example or in some campaign and you'll imediatly see that the Konrad's speech is the same that a lot of people unfortunately ... Like i already said, Konrad's speech is directely quoted from some politics french people (i remember Manuel Valls). The racism in this show couldn't be undestand by a lot of people because it's some typic french racist speech, i don't know if they are the same in America or somewhere else, but when i read the manga, i totally though about some people that i known, the similarity between Konrad's speech and speech that i heard before where perfect, it was exactly what French racism that i met told, word for word, exactly the same speech.

oh wow, I knew france has some political problems but I didn't knew it was that bad. I thought an open hate-speech would have only work around 80 years ago. I'm from germany btw and WW2 is a topic in history class for a whole year. We also still have some problems with rasism but the politicians are more....subtile about their "fear" for minorities.

I heard the anime isn't doing the manga justice but I guess they still did a good job on this arc.

I'm well aware that there are racist people out there who will never change their opinions. That's not issue I have. My issue is when racism is used as an excuse to incite violence, a method to gain power, or a way to point fingers at someone who isn't responsible for the difficulties in someone's life. Too many politicians in throughout history have taken advantage on their own race to gain their seat of power and then use the emotions of that minority by playing the race card along with every other dirty trick to keep their power while never helping those who were promised things would get better.

The immigrant part feels like liberal propaganda but the epísode was ok, I guess.

I want to know more about Grimm and the girl in the end. They look interesting.
