| It's nice she is very good natured and caring towards even former students, but I hate that mentality. People wont learn if you don't allow them to be punished. She can feel disappointed all she wants, but she shouldn't allow herself to be harmed to protect those degenerates. |

| Yahiko is done with being dog for the yakuza, though Kaoru sure has some coincidental timing to witness the atrocity. Not even the Yakuza could scratch a winch over Kenshin, which while Yahiko does not appreciate the sentiment, he laments at relying on the strength of other people to protect his parents' honour, and the only way to get stronger is by being under Kaoru's tutelage. But the disdain that Kenshin would not teach his Hiten Mitsurugi-ryu is a better chance, because it beats someone losing his/her life over something that is outdated. Hira and Sato getting accosted by the Hishimani Guren gang, without Kenshin they would not survive, though the both of them are to blame for causing the ruckus to begin with. In the end, they reap what they sow, though Kaoru taking on their blame is justified, and just enough for Kenshin to show up and scare them away. Kaoru's former students finally giving the boot because they don't belong, and Yahiko steels his resolve even more, it's both a curse and a blessing for her. Sanosuke's arrival, get ready! |

Edit : Maybe it's because of her aggressiveness , which got greatly reduced alongside the comedy in this one ? |

| This really is a Kaoru episode, an opportunity to show her strengths to the boy who found his sense of samurai pride. I appreciate that she could get some hits in and not just be on the sidelines, but they really sent their whole gang after two guys.. talk about blowing problems out of proportion. Kenshin really just sliced up a cannonshot like nothing though o_o how fast could that clay ball have been moving for him to get a clean slice down the middle. Kenshin doesn't play around, that's for sure. And so, the episode concluded with the bond between teacher and student solidifying. Kaoru isn't being called old hag anymore so that's a dub lol |

| Nice that Kenshin saved that Yahiko kid and that he's now a disciple at Kaoru's dojo (even though he has quite the temperament). And lmao Kenshin breaking a canon bullet in half with his sword, this guy is too OP, at least they're getting rid of the ex disciples since they're responsible for taking a fight while being drunk |
