| i think i like the show so far, but i don't really understand the role of the graders in this. like what exactly is it that they do? do they literally just critique the artists' work? if so, then how could they even think they're more important than the artists themselves? i hope the mc(don't remember his name for the life of me) and kyo are able to make up by the end of the show. i hope he absolutely blows kyo's mind with his art, and then together they blow everyone's minds. i just like happy endings, lmao. |

| Incredibly powerful and strong episode making a statement about how artists find themselves undervalued by even those that commission them. I wonder how this would in the context of generative AI and prompts The ED is perfect with Kazuya and Kyou singing and dancing. |

| I get that they wanted to show off the characters' personalities and dynamics first, but I feel like they should have introduced the characters through their art and grading. Like we only have a vague idea of what a Grader is (it's like a manager? Coach? Pimp?), we don't know what most characters' styles or grading styles are, we didn't get any Perception Art at all this episode. How can we tell how each pair dynamic works? But I like what we see of some of the supporting characters. We have the jerk, the guy who's late on his work, the quiet loner, and the user. Everyone else blends together as "generically nice," but they'll probably get fleshed out as we go along. |

| Now, I was really afraid this would become another Spy Classroom with tons of main characters that don't get development, but this episode made things more interesting. It generally offered a lot more than the first episode, with the artists Vs grader fight. It might actually develop a solid story. The premise is still one of the best this season after all. Plus there's finally some much needed BL! I just hope the main characters get some spotlight soon. But that's a void just carried over from when they didn't get this in the first episode. |
