The fourth episode of Engage Kiss was interesting.

1. A killer who mixes things up by walking through mirrors
2. The character clash between Ayano and Kisara, as well as the encounter between Ayano and Shuu, which is very important in the course of the anime
3. The little funny scenes where the character is portrayed poor

Conclusion: Episode four was well received, but I would have liked a few scenes to be more emotional

It is good that Kisara told Ayano, but why in front of that shopkeeper? The demons were supposed to be kept away from the public...
and that girl drinking so much wine.. it is impossible ;d she was not even drunk...

I felt for Ayano when she realized that Shu forgot about their memories together, I really like how Kisara went the way to tell Ayano the truth behind Shu's memories, she might be yandere but she is still kind to her love rival :)

Seems like am the only one who couldn't give two shits about ayano still like she talks about how she doesn't want shu endangering himself and yet does the same thing and it's even worse cause she's weaker and two her reaction to him loosing his memories had zero emotions,this episode just made me like kisara more i mean even though she gives the yandere possessive type that will use anything at her disposal as an advantage she actually told ayano wat was going on and that last part it was very clear that deep down that's not wat she thought,this episode changed my view on her or should I say gave me a better impression of her.
Though am the only one that thinks like this since other people just ended up disliking her more

Yes, at some point he'll become someone else once he loses enough memories, and after that he'll just become an empty shell.

Another strong episode, and a cliff hanger to boot. The competition for Shu seems to have a deeper meaning that has yet to be revealed. How this plays out will likely determine where this series lands for me. Otherwise it's fine entertainment. Nice action scenes. A revenge plot (or two) brewing. Underground societies vs organized government. It's all entertaining enough. But if the characters develop then it will elevate the entire series, at least from my perspective.

Liking the characterisation that's being built as this anime goes on. Both Ayano and Kisara obviously have a level of affection for Shuu, and display it differently. Ayano still seems insecure over how their relationship fizzled out, which Kisara uses to assert her own confidence in her current standing with Shuu in a slightly venomous manner. Despite that, when alone with Shuu herself, Kisara also has her own hangups about who he really "loves", so it's quite interesting.

Also, you can see the demon (Maria) in the mirror when the police guy is investigating the scene.
