| Let him cook now... Let him cook. I SAID... LET HIM COOK!!! Once Isagi solved the puzzle and found the jigsaw pieces he needed, the game is as good as over, and the striker emerged. Isagi cooked and Isagi delivered, when push comes to shove and when the opposition is equally matched, he has the extra edge because he was willing to change, adapt to a new environment and variables, discard the person he was and the thought he had, to become an even better version of himself in every conceivable way. So much so that Naruhaya called him a genius in adaptability. He was reborn, and he will be reborn over and over as he improves over the course of his time in Blue Lock. What Naruhaya could not do, he could. And what Naruhaya wished he could do, Isagi could and did it better. I only wished there were more fluid animations for this episode, aside from the stillframes. The sound effects are always on point though. Welp, amazing ep, gave me just as much thrill and goosebumps as I did when I read this chapter. |

| Visuals in this episode were awesome, and Isagi figured out how to evolve even further by being aware of his blind spots and knowing how to play when off the ball. He masters his new weapon of shifting into another player's blind spot to gain an advantage. Isagi and Seishiro win 5-4, rip Naruhaya. Isagi wants to win for Naruhaya and to keep on winning for him. Naruhaya's backstory was pretty sad too, quite unfortunate that he is living without his parents, and he had a dream to be a pro soccer player in hopes of helping his family someday. With Barou joining Isagi and Seishiro, things are about to get even more crazy. Kunigami and Chigiri plan to take down Bachira and Isagi for leaving them behind, and Reo joins Kunigami and Chigiri. |

| Probably my favorite episode so far. I had goosebumps through that entire final play by Isagi. It's great that most of the development is in mentality & adapting to new pieces of the puzzle. It allows these moments to have a bigger impact since it's about multiplying the athletes' already inherent abilities. Really solid send-off to Naruhaya. The refreshing thing about Blue Lock is how each character is prioritizing their survival by all means while still having those mutual rivalries & understandings that come from a typical sports series. |
